Analytics and Redirects?

Is there a way to capture any analytics on a domain that has a 301 redirect pointing to a page that you can't put any code on?

well i guess you don't need this..
the search engine will update itself to a new place where they see a 301 redirect.
but why do you want to do that and you mentioned a domain that you couldn't add any code on?

if it is your domain, you can certainly add some code on it so I am not sure what exactly you need.

I think that's what I mean. I would like to add analytics to my domain to see where the traffic that I am redirecting is coming from. Of course, it would be nice to get as much data as possible (keywords, referring page, etc).
How could I add this to my "empty" domain.
