Hi,

somebody once asked me what is the best advice i could give to someone who is intending to start into the Internet Marketing arena without any prior experience and without any money to spend on info products.

what are the best free info programs that one can suggest to such a newbie ?

what are the steps that this person has to follow so that he /she doesn't end up trying everything and getting confused ?

i couldn't give a convincing answer, i need your help to give the answer to this question.

thanks.

I always advise people to sign up for the Bum Marketing report, and then DON'T BUY ANYTHING RELATED TO INTERNET MARKETING (unless it's a domain and hosting) until they are buying it with money they MADE from internet marketing.

If I were just starting out again I'd probably start with BUM marketing (which is Online marketing using just free methods (hence the bum reference) in one of two ways.

    A) With a Blog.

A Blog is not always the most profitable method in the long run but they're blindingly easy to set up and can be found by search engines like Google in a matter of days. I would advise them to Sign up with clickbank and Blogger for a start, choose a product they find interesting and start blogging about the topic, throwing in a sneaky affiliate link every now and then. Once they get comfortable doing this there's ample opportunity to take the blog further and even add a website.

    or

    B) Squidoo Marketing.

Now I know not many peole around here are big big fans of squidoo but it can be a fantastic way for a newbie to make their first sales. I made my first sale from the poorest Squidoo page in histroy and I felt like an absolute hero. Again all they need to do is sign up with Clickbank, find an interesting product and make a page about it. I had my first sale with a review page on an internet marketing product.

    THEN

I would start writing an article a day about the chosen topic and submitting it to Ezinearticles and Goarticles of course with a link back to my Blog or Squidoo page.

I know its basic and overused but it STILL makes money, and can be a big start for any beginner.

I'd make sure that she understands the difference between trying to make money online and running a business. If she wants to have any kind of long term success, she should focus on the latter. The best way (in my opinion) is to focus on business models that are already successful.

Does she want to create and sell her own products? Does she want to sell someone else's product as an affiliate? Does she have any skills (writing, web design, for example) that she could sell? Basically look around at business models that are already working so that she doesn't have to recreate the wheel. Then once she decides on a business model, she can focus on specific ways to promote. Hope that helps!
