Good Publicity, Traffic Surge, Site Unresponsive!
Okay I need some guidance from the experts. Voices.com just did "thing" on my website and particular article. That caused traffic yesterday to skyrocket and shortly thereafter, my domain can't be accessed, at least not in less than 30-45 minutes (yes, I said MINUTES) of "loading" on the browser. No error, just "loading" until it loads or the user gives up.
The site is on Hostgator, on a dedicate server my biz partner owns. I'm in the process of transferring the domain butin the meantime, the Hostgator folks can't seem to tell me what's wrong.
I know this is one of those "good" problems:rolleyes:, but I would like to solve it just the same. What advice do the more experienced warriors have?
