Very nice. Definitely a lot faster than the old one - and I think it's a newer and more up-to-date forum script too.

Absolutely incredible! What a face lift!

I love the avitars, the ability to have friends and just the overall Web 2.0 feel of things!

There are, of course, a few noteworthy negatives. The main one, IMO, being the inability to bump WSOs..

But overall, I think the new forum more than makes up for it's shortcomings. I vote for "It roxxors."

The jury is still out here.

Pros: Nice to see the avatars.

Cons: Lost two WSOs that I opened yesterday. Can't get some BB Code (like colour and size) to work properly. Had a near heart failure this morning when I couldn't log in. Would have been nice to have had some advance warning.

Hoping the Pros will soon make themselves more obvious.

Bad move on having the forum start again from 0 posts. Looses WF's credibility and makes one feel like they're missing out. IE: If I hang around here, I feel I'm missing out on all the wonderful stuff at /forum.

Yes admin attempeted to transfer over, however ofcourse there's someone on rentacoder, elance who can pull off the transfer successfully.

Andre - no disrespect at all - but what's wrong with a nice change of pace? A new fresh forum? I think it's wonderful.

Besides, you can go to www.warriorforum.com/forum and get old posts for now.

A first batch had disappeared during the forum "reconstruction".
Now they are ALL gone!!
Wonder if they can be recooped from the old forum.

I used [ size=6 ] as per usual and the code showed. Then I changed to [ size=+2 ] and still code showed. Same with [ color=red ]. Of course, I did with no spaces.

I've been on other vbulletin sites before and one of the issues is having to log back in if you stay in one place to long. If your writing a post that takes a while and you click Post don't be surprised if you're asked to log in again. So it might be a good idea to copy and paste you reply into notepad because every once in a while vbulletin will log you in and some how misplace what you just entered. If you entered a lot it's a pain. Same thing if you read one of the longer WSO and read some of the replies. Don't be surprised if you look up and see your no longer logged in.

The other area I liked better before was the WSO. Now the name of the person the WSO belongs to is under the Title instead of out to the right. I used to scroll down the page just looking for a persons name. Also when you click a link it stays the same color. The old forum it changed color. That was another way I located things I was considering to buy.

By the way I just clicked on post and guess what happened -

1. You do not have permission to perform this action. Please refresh the page and login before trying again.

Yes when I followed the above instruction everything I typed was gone.

This is the 3nd time this has happened to me in this session.

I here a sucking sound.

I think it's only a temporary thing.

Once Warriors start exercising their moderator privileges, some of the inane threads in the main forum will go away.

Okay -- so that's about moderation. True.

So I should take it back, I guess.

Seriously, the features, the speed, the blogs, the web2.0 stuff -- awesome.

But I still miss my stars, LOL.

I don't know about using the size+2 thingy, but to get size to work by defining the number just use -

[ size="4" ]text here[ /size ] (without spaces)

to test - test text

I don't know about the colour but i have seen it being used already...are you using the 'advanced' WYSIWYG thing? That has colour selection on it -

Pros: Nice to see the avatars. Cons: Lost two WSOs that I opened yesterday. Can't get some BB Code (like colour and size) to work properly. Had a near heart failure this morning when I couldn't log in. Would have been nice to have had some advance warning. Hoping the Pros will soon make themselves more obvious.

Looses WF's credibility and makes one feel like they're missing out. IE: If I hang around here, I feel I'm missing out on all the wonderful stuff at /forum. Yes admin attempeted to transfer over, however ofcourse there's someone on rentacoder, elance who can pull off the transfer successfully.
