Turning off search history personalization

Signed out searches
Google: "In the top right corner of the search results page, click the gear icon, then select Web History."

Am I the only one that doesn't see "web history under the gear icon?? This is completely scewing my results!

      yes, I see the Logo, I don't have the web history option! I onlly have ...... OHHH! you actually have to be searching something, then after the result chnage the setting. OK, thanks, I was confused because I was doing it directly from the google.com webpage rather than the search result, thanks!
