Should I have a suite of related products or should I concentrate on just a few products?

I am stuck in a dilemma right now...In my niche, I can create hundreds of different products. but that will also means having many different lists to market to.

Should I go in the route of creating products after products after products or should I concentrate on 3 - 6 products and market it well?

What are your thoughts?

I agree with "pappu89", but I would say to concentrate on even less products 3-4. It is important to identify the unique benefit of each product (ie. how it solves the consumer's problem, or satisfies a want), as people like to have a choice. However, if you give them too many choices, they become overwhelmed and indecisive.

    Hopefully this helps.

    Hi

I would definitely start with just a few products and as they prove themselves then add in more.

You will know if it's worth it to scale up after you get some traffic.

Bigger sites are a good way to go now. So that would be my approach aim to have a large authority site built around the products.

    Thanks

I agree with Ivatel42. Use a few products and then build an authority site around them

    This is actually pretty simple.

Create those first 3 products and get the ball rolling and creating a list. Then ASK THEM WHAT THEY WANT. Create it, add it to your mix for the niche. ASK YOUR LIST AGAIN....

You may believe you do not need many products, but the real question is how many products does your market need. Keep asking until you know.

Im going to go against the grain here and say dont rule any out. Funnel interest down from social media and article and search engine marketing onto your products. Then see which people buy which. Track each project. Like some of the warriors said above though, if they are closely related, why not build one list? There is bound to be some overlap in interest? Maybe they will like them all

I recommend You create a few Front End Products to Build your list. You then can create Back end products to market to your list.

Let me amplify what naruq said: Once you've got some low end products that are selling, rather than building more lower end products, you may want to build some intermediate and high end products targeted at the same customers. You'll get more $ per sale, with less effort to find buyers, since you've already got a list of people who you know are in the market and who know who you are.

Personally I would focus on a very few products that would be high in demand. Once you've got good sales coming in and have built a good reputation with customers then you can gradually add more products. By that stage you'd have a steady stream of money coming in from your first products so you can afford to experiment with new products, discovering which sell and which don't.

I strongly suggest you get started with one product. Do a
research to make sure it is going to sell. Create something
really good that people benefit from and love.

Then survey them to know what other product they want, this
way you are not going to make the same mistake lot of people
make which is creating first the product without knowing if
it is going to sell or not.

    Thanks,

At least in my own case, I've found one successful product leads to another, in an almost organic fashion.

I don't try to create a group of products up front, since i don't really know what the niche truly wants. I try to pick a niche with enough 'space' for a number of products and then let sales results point me in the direction of what I should develop next.

Even surveys do not speak with the same truth as actual sales.

It is always better to be focused and bind up your entire arsenals for better punches and results.

I strongly believe that making $1000 per day from 2 products will give more insights and inner sweet resolve than exhausting all your energy in chasing 10 products and end up making $500 daily.

The summary is that you should do better by coming with less products and see how big your results will be before expanding.

Thanks guys....I have been thinking that I didn't want to just produce products but also build a brand around it. I guess at the end of the day, it's more about what I am passionate about and how I can turn that passion into products that benefit people....
