Getting Spreadheet Data Into Wordpress?

I need to import product info from a spreadsheet into Wordpress. I'm using Thesis. And I am having a really hard time doing it. The Excel file has product images and a fair amount of tabular data. I've tried importing into Dreamweaver as a table and then copying the html into Wordpress, but that is really a long and tedious process.

What do other folks do when displaying spreadsheet/tabular data?

Thanks.

Can you take a screenshot of the spreadsheet and embed the image into your post/page?

That would be the quickest and easiest way to get the information in there and maintain its look and feel.

True. But since we're going to want this table to be a product display, at least some cells will likely need to be clickable.

You may want to try setting up your spreadsheet in Google Docs and then embedding it in a page.

Ok, here is another thought. (I have nevr tried any of these, but just trying to help the thought train get rolling).

In OpenOffice (not sure of Excel directly) Spreadsheets, if you click the "Save As" button, you can save as an 'html' document. So there is no exporting or converting, just click a button or two.

Then you could embed that html into your page.

BTW, you've posted this question in the wrong forum, s/b Website Design.

Take a look at some of the plugins that import spreadsheet data to get working code examples. One example I'm looking at right now is the Event Registration plugin. You are *supposed* to be able to import a CSV file to add events.
