What does a ZERO with a Line through it mean?

a marketer has given me their email, and one of the symbols is a CIRCLE with a Diagonal line in it, this way / {going through the line}

Is it an o eg Swallow ? or a 0? 200 ?

    Are you referring to something hand written scanned? I always slash my 0s to different them from the letter O. It's like crossing Zs... tho I'm not sure if this is what you're referring to.

      You can probably just type a zero when you are using the email. Unless it is a special character from a language other than english. I put a slash in my zeros when I am writing by hand to makes sure everyone knows it is not an uppercase letter O.

    an "o" with a slash through it means a zero "0", its from back in the older days when computer fonts made o and 0 look the same. Its as in 200

    1. In certain font types they used to put / across the zero to avoid confusion between 0 and O.

    2. In some Scandinavian languages there is a letter O with a line through:
    København = Copenhagen as the Danish write it

    If it looked like this "Ø", chances are it came from the Norwegian alphabet, or some other Scandinavian country. In the USA and Canada, we have 26 letters in the alphabet. In a country such as Norway, they have an additional three letters in their alphabet (29 total).

    The three additional letters are:

    Æ Ã... Ø

    Typing "what does a zero with a line through it mean?" into Google...

    The answer was right there, number 7 - the Warrior's Forum in a post titled "what does a zero with a line through it mean?"

    Hmmm... Lewis Carroll would think that this made sense, I suppose...
