MENTOR WANTED!!

A lot of people here will suggest that before you look for a mentor, search the site first. This forum is filled with information on any internet marketing topic you want to learn about.

Before approaching a mentor, it's best to know what sector of internet marketing you are interested in. Most mentors do not know (or care to know) everything there is to know about this field.

Also, it's best to establish credibility before approaching a mentor. They will know that you are serious about earning money online. I can't tell you how many people come to the forum a few times then leave.

With that said... cruise around a bit on the forum, find what part of internet marketing that interests you, then find a mentor that specializes in your particular area of focus.

It may be hard to spot mentors at first, but soon... you'll start to see them everywhere.

Christie is right Jurome familiarize yourself with the Warrior forum and read all you can. But you need to do that so you can know where you will be comfortable.

A word of caution do not buy every shiny product out there. Decide where you are going to focus your energy, by deciding if you like to write, create software, create videos, create audios and so on. The opportunities are endless so after you have familiarized yourself with the forum pick one and stay focused.

I agree with the other posters, if you get a mentor first you will save yourself a lot of frustration and in the long run and you will probably save yourself a lot of money also.

Make sure you are committed to do the work before you get a mentor, a mentor won't do the work for you.

There's a lot of good advice on the forum. The top guys don't do mentoring cheap, keep that in mind. You may be able to find someone willing to do some mentoring for cheap.

Try to read and participate a lot here. MOst of the people here are gurus who knows a lot of things. You don't have to pay for anything. Just ask a question and many will be willing to share their experience without a fee.

This forum can be a great mentor to you only if you do one thing...

Pay attention.

There are tons of great advice about how to make money online
already available in this forum. Of course, if you can get a mentor
to guide you, that would be great.

If not, this forum, being a collective gathering of minds about
making money online with internet marketing, could be your
answer.

Hit up google, search this forum, and learn the basics on your own, and see if this venture is even right for you.

If you don't even know the basics, a mentor is not yet for you.

You must a control of the basics such as...

- Finding niches
- Finding products ( affiliate )
- Slapping up a landing page to warmup your prospects
- Generating visitors to that landing page

- See what happens

( 400-500 visitors will tell you a lot about your offer and how people will react to it )

Those are the basics of the affiliate model which is the best system to start for a newcomer.

Later on you can get into building a site around a niche or product and building your lists and getting a mentor to introduce you to some super high level tactics.

Super Tip!

Become a master of traffic generation and you can write your own ticket.

jurome , Dont buy any of those ebooks again those so called gurus would empty your pocket with there money graphic site ,you suffer why they reap bountifully with the same story ebook all the time. please take my word seriously .... i know of a guy who will teach everything you need to know online for free is name is grizzly and this is blog i dont have affiliation with this guy the only thing i have for him is love this is blog makemoneyforbeginners.blogspot.com

Hi Jurome,
I have bought a lot of courses in my year and and a half quest for internet marketing wealth. I personally talk face to face to a few Gurus. Personally, I like Mike Filsaime very much, but it will be very difficult to get him as your mentor now. If you live anywhere near Long Island, do try to visit his office, in the right occasions, you might even be fed. I know quite a few people who admitted to mentored by him and now earning 6 figure sums. I was recently very lucky and joined a course by a very much up and coming fellow called Alex Jeffreys. Google him! A lovely fellow and he really over delivers again and again. His enthusiasm alone will sweep you to success assuming you are one that will take action. His course might be closed, but you can get some of his give away and slowly get involved. Good luck!

Having a mentor will catapult your further and faster than anything else. I knoqw it woudl ahve shaved months off my time to get where i am now if i had a mentor just to ask the odd question to in the beginning.

I went thru alot until I finally figured out that I needed private coaching and I can tell you that I have found the most awesome one. You are in the right place already. Getting to this forum is the first step towards your online success. Many of the participants are gurus in their own right even though many are still at the base.

One sure thing however is that factually everyone here makes one form of income or the other, the difference is the volume.

While mentors who are already making millions may not be able to come down to your level, those who are making nothing will have nothing to offer you. So I advice that you pick one who is just starting and is probably making a few $100 or $1000.

Having a mentor is not a bad idea, however there are a
few things you should do first...

1. Learn about many different areas of Internet Marketing.
(Not only different media options, but also different markets.)

2. Have a handful of markets, advertising options, and
product ideas laid out.

3. Focus on finding a mentor with experience in the markets,
advertising or products you're seriously considering. (Let the
mentor assist you in selecting which ones to start off with,
and carefully follow your mentor's advice.)

4. Offer your mentor something of serious value for his trouble
in helping you out. (Perhaps a percentage of your income or
a long-term joint venture built into your business for cross-
promotion of his products or something similar.)

Unless, of course, you're lucky enough to find a mentor who
won't want anything from you... but I've seen many of those
relationships fall apart very quickly.

Remember the two keys are: learning and taking action.
