How would YOU market this?

OK, so I own a site related to day trading and have written an excellent 1000 word article that explains a strategy that guarantees wins. As far as I am aware noone else is using the strategy and I am going to publish it on my site....

...The thing is my site is pretty new and doesnt get a great deal of traffic so i was hoping you guys could give some advice on how I could go about marketing my site through the article. Unfortunaltey due to the complexity of the subject matter rewriting it time and time again isn't really viable.

Thanks in advance!

    Hi

If I understand correctly you want some help with article marketing??

Search for threads by Alexa Smith -- she is really good and know what she talks about. Follow her strategies and you will get decent traffic.
You can also look for Kim Rauch -- she is great with content sindication and traffic strategies.

I would also advise not to stop at the one article. If you are good in writing then continue writing 1 article a day (make it 400/500 words).

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Marcoose,
I'm working on a forex site and it currently has an alexa ranking of 1.4 million down from 19 million just a month ago.
If you would like to send me a short post with your signature in it I'll be glad to add it as a guest post on the blog.
This should help you get your site moving in the right direction.
Let me know if you interested.
Or if you have any other questions.

    Hey Marcoose,

Joe gave you a big opportunity and if you are good at
writing then you should look for other popular blogs in your
topic and make the proposal to write for them...

It is a win-win situation... in some cases they will say no,
but don't let that stop you, approach other blog owners and
you will see how many of them accept your proposal...

And your site will take off.

    Thanks,
    ^PV Reymond

I suggest you definitely go for social networks and join groups of your area.

I suppose i was more talking about how to use this one article to gain maximum exposure to my site. It could potentially be very popular and I want to gain as much traffic as possible.

In all honesty someone I know has written it for me. They have traded for years and have been kind enough to let me have it for my site. I only wish I could regularly write as technically as he can.

The article itself does not market your website. It is the people who read your article who market your website. Therefore, there must be something in the article that persuades the people to spread the words to their friends. There must be a call to action instructing them to spread the word. The call to action must be so persuasive that the percentage of people who read the article is large enough to trigger their contact networks to read and share the article.
