Outsource - Philippines, anyone know the best way?

I'm looking to finally outsource my work, mostly seo / backlinking. I heard the Philippines is a great place to find experienced workers for a low cost.

Does anyone know anything about this? I'm looking specifically for people from the Philippines only.

Well, there are some websites that have specialized in providing Philippine workers for outsourcing purposes, like onlinejobs.ph
You can also look at the Philippinean Craigslist, e.g. manila.craigslist.com.ph

I've also successfully hired Filipinos from oDesk who did a very good job.

I have to say, I've never heard of us Filipinos being referred to as Philippineans before. It's like referring to the French as Franceans or the Spanish as Spainans...

I have personally used onlinejobs.ph for hiring Philippines people..I have interviewed 10/12 & selected 3 of them for 2 months...out of which 2 were good...but please note there is power cut problem in Philippines. They called it brownout & that reduces the efficiency of worker..so please ask them while hiring that how they are going to deal with brownout...

I'll cast another vote for OnlineJobs.ph and also for using John Jonas' training over at Replace Myself.

I've been a member of ReplaceMyself for a long time and it's exceptional.

I think you'd benefit from going through some of my blog posts that are specifically about outsourcing to the Philippines here

I had many requiest from people from the philipines on getfreelancers.com..

Actually I don't know why you want people from philipines only. I worked together with many people from india or pakistan. Most of the people are great and honest workers!

Yes we know that people in India and Pakistan are good workers but then compared to the Philippines workers they are much good and sincere with their work and also they are not over pricing talking of their skill. Filipino workers are more patient than others. They are more flexible compared to other countries... They are smart

The best to outsource in the Philippines, as what other warriors had already stated are at Odesk.com and onlinejobs.ph. They have thousands of members who can really deliver what you want them to do, and in fact, I have a friend who had 3 writers from the Philippines and was very satisfied to their performances.

You just have to check the sites, and also, there are other skilled writers and service providers from other countries that you could choose. But I would say, it is better to outsource in the Philippines for a quality work that you want them to provide.

Not to mention that the quality of work is far different between these 3 countries... I have more than 20 writers and only 1 is from India, 4 from Kenya, 2 from Singapore, 4 from US, and the rest are from Philippines....

    Try this

    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...g-75-week.html

I've hired 3 Va from them for the past few months. They also have seo software available for their va, like senuke, AMR, scapebox .. so on. Read the thread above and decide for yourself.

Contact Jake and ask for the two-day trial to test the VA first before you hire them.

    Hope that helps.

I have visited and lived in the Philippines 3 times over the last few years. Many of them are well educated and speak good English plus are polite and helpful. I was quite shocked to see many jobs over there for simple jobs like working as a waitress etc only pay around 100 pesos a day and often the worker will spend half of that on transport and food for the day. 100 pesos is the equivalent of around $2

I hired a programmer from philippines once using elance and found him to be very good. He was courteous, patient and understood my requirements very well. I haven't used Odesk yet but elance is definitely a good place to find workers for outsourcing.

Indeed, Filipinos are really good workers. You can easily trust them with the work you are outsourcing.

Working online has also been a rapidly growing industry in their country so I'm sure you will not have that much of a hard time looking for them. Just advertise the jobs you are offering in online job sites where Filipinos are always looking at.

This one is a good place.

oDesk is best because you don't need to lock in to minimum hours to start with. Then you can build your team.

I have found that a team of 3 or 4 specialists is better than a jack of all trades.

I can't thank you enough fellow Warriors for hiring Filipino workers. You have helped our economy so much.

Just treat your Filipino employees good and they will treat you good as well. It's all about respect.

To the OP, if you haven't find anyone yet, please PM me. I'll do my best to help you.

    Cheers,

Workers from the Philippines are great! We have a nice-sized team of them that are very loyal and hard-working. If you are serious about creating a sustainable business online, I would highly recommend hiring at least 1 outsourcer from the Philipines, and then expand your team from that point. It'll completely change your business for the better.

Lots of good suggestions. Can't remember the name but I once saw a website for a Filipino sourcing company. Their work looked good and they claimed to have close supervision too.

For anyone wanting to try the free classifieds you should not focus on Craigslist for the Philippines. Try these two:
Sulit.com.ph - Buy and Sell Philippines - Online Classified Ads

    and

Free classifieds in Philippines, classified ads in Philippines (For Sale in Philippines, Personals in Philippines, Vehicles in Philippines, Real Estate in Philippines, Community in Philippines,...)

Both are more popular in the Philippines than Craigslist.

  • I user wire transfer and western union to pay outsourcers if they are not from odesk or elance (credit card). Is there a cheaper way to pay workers from Philipines, I'm getting ready to hire one to do some writing and editing heard from a few people they are the best in that department especially if you get a top noch one. Just wire and western union have high transfer fees.
