Aweber or Get Response?

Which is better Aweber or Get Response?

Aweber seems to be really expensive in comparison to GR but Aweber appears to have more features. I've got previous experience of Aweber but have never used GR so I'm wondering what everyone thinks of it.

Thanks

I use Aweber and haven't had a problem. the one prob I did have regarding tweaking the email to avoid the Spam filters (spam assassin), I contacted their customer service and within 3 minutes I was good to go!

    Highly recommend them.

Saying that, there are many many other marketers out there who also find GetResponse fine too, so I think you'll struggle to NOT find a good provider!

I am using both but I find aweber faster and more friendly.

However, getresponse allows you to have more subscriber before you need to pay for your subscribers.

If you are budget constraint, I will suggest you go for getresponse

I've used both and decided on GetResponse a few years ago. They both work well for their intended purposes. I just prefer GR.

Getresponse does the job for me, and I don't intend to change anytime soon...

I use both Aweber and Get Response. You can't just look at how expensive it is. Remember it is an investment in your Internet Marketing Business.

I'm an Aweber customer, and they are pretty good. However, if I had to pay the new pricing structure I would NOT be a customer.

I am fairly new to using Aweber and am really pleased so far - they have been really helpful when I have had technical difficulties - ie me not understanding what I am doing

I use Aweber, but it's worth noting that GetResponse integrates better with DL Guard. If you're using that program to distribute files, you might want to consider using GetResponse instead.

Charlie is right, GetResponse DOES integrate better with DLGuard, and for a really good reason:

GetResponse offers their clients an "API" system, which basically means you can automatically add customers to your mailing list when they purchase.

    Aweber doesn't.

The only automatic method of adding customers to an Aweber list is to use their Email Parser.

I think not offering an API system is quite 1990's of them. Hopefully one day Aweber will add a system like this.

But for now, this is a HUGE reason to go with GetResponse, in my opinion.

    cheers
    Sam

PS. Just to clarify, scripts out there that claim to add customers automatically to your Aweber mailing list are either breaking their Terms of Service (which can lead you to having your account shut down), or it's not true automation - they're instead displaying an Aweber signup form (whether it's visible or not), and getting the customer to click a submit button.

GetResponse, on the other hand, offers true and solid automation.
