I have been doing some research to gather data about the effectiveness of online marketing for small businesses. The numbers I have found are just astounding!
I thought I would share a few highlights here. I think they prove that starting a business involving internet marketing, whether it be ecommerce, information marketing, selling to offline businesses, consulting, etc- is one of the best places now and for the future.

MOBILE AD SPENDING- To grow 48% this year (emarketer)
