Is there a website with videos or some ebooks that teach you how
to setup groups and fan pages for facebook & learning the basics.

There's quite a bit out there in articles and YouTube videos, plus here's something floating around:

    Facebook Page Marketing ebook 2011

    (no affil).

More changes are taking place at Facebook, targeted for March 11, so catch some buzz on that the rest of this week, too, all over....

I'm brand new at this but I am currently working my way through shoemoneysystem.com and am finding it really helpful. It is a subscription service but there is a ton of info about advertising on facebook and how to track your advertising to determine its effectiveness, how to build successful fanpages, etc. The videos walk you step by step through it

I'll search on youtube but isn't there a guru that teaches the basics for free like
how to setup a fan page & group.

I've got some youtube videos that are going viral & I'd like to tie it into facebook.

I've already registered a personal profile at facebook with the same email address
    that I use with youtube.

The youtube videos are bloppers, funny videos & I've had one video appear on
    three tv shows.

Should I create a group or a fan page for the funny videos that's going viral.

I just need a simple ebook or video that explains how to do this & promote it
no long seminar or anything just a simple ebook or video.

You should check out the 6-7 video, free better-than-basic training from Jo Barnes.
Try googling free fanpage templates dot com (without the spaces).
She's a Brit... yeah, it's a girl, and her programme is good.
