    I rather own software. Sometimes signing in and using software hosting on someone else's server is a pain and I sometimes fear that anything can happen on their end and then I'll be stuck with no access to something I paid for.

    I love tools that are hosted elsewhere. Why? Because I can access them from anywhere on just about any device. For example I have a ton of software on my desktop, but when I leave home with just my laptop I'm missing things badly.

    With hosted software (cloud computing I guess is what its called these days?) I can have access to my tools immediately no matter where I'm at. I dig that.

    Yeah, BloggingPro is right. I also voted for hosted elsewhere. Cloud software is the future and the only con is that I need to have Internet connection. But nowadays you can get online access everywhere!
