Whats the best fulfilment business to make & ship product?

Know what I mean? They print CDs and PDFs on demand when you get an order and ship them for you. Appreciate any suggestions. I know Frank Kern suggested one in Mass Control but I need to go through it again to find it.

Rather than me re-type it all for you, I gave my opinion on the top fulfillment services in another thread last month.

    Here is the link here:

The one Frank Kern recommends in Mass Control would most likely be Disk.com. I also give my opinion on that one in the same thread:

If you need a package put together that includes several components (e.g., CDs, DVDs, printed manuals) you might want to look at Speaker Fulfillment Services. I know they have handled products for a number of the gurus. I use them to ship books for me and I have been happy with their service.

I have been using kunaki.com for several years now and I'm very happy with them.
They have good prices and never have problems. I had a problem once and contacted them. They replied the next day and solved it.

I also have an automatic system in place: I get orders to my ebook, my system sends the infos automatically to kunaki, and kunaki burns the ebook on CD and ships it to the customer automatically. So the whole process is automated and I only check to see if there are any buyer emails.

      That's odd.

Will said earlier they have no customer support. Is this a new thing that's been added since he did his research?

WillR - 3. The disadvantage of Kunaki is they do NOT provide any customer service whatsoever - there is no one you can talk to about your orders.

I have had them respond to an email or two in the past but the responses were never more than a few words long. Not the type of communication I want with people looking after an important part of my business.

However, in their defence, they are very clear about this on the FAQ page of their website:

        What is bad about Kunaki?

        Kunaki is not for everyone.

Kunaki operates more like a machine than a business and does not offer a personalized service. We don't engage in active marketing, sales, or public relations. We never offer discounts or special deals. We don't offer affiliate or partner programs. The Kunaki machine is operated and managed by software rather than a management team.

Our service is designed for 21st-century, intelligent, independent publishers who prefer to deal with a cold, efficient, and reliable machine that is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Because Kunaki is highly automated and focused on quality, low price, and fast production, we offer a minimal range of options.

I contacted them about 1 year ago, so this is not a new thing. I don't know what you understand exactly with customer service. My problem was that they shipped the wrong CD, I contacted them and they shipped the right one free of charge. So that is customer service for me

Also have a look at the end of the page Kunaki - Questions and Answers where they write:
"If your question is not answered above please email us at: CustomerService@Kunaki.com"

I believe they will help you with any damaged goods or order problems. However they are not going to sit their and discuss product options, give customized quotes or anything like that. Kunaki do one thing and they seem to do it well. If you need anything outside of just sending a CD or a DVD then they won't be much good.

And as mentioned earlier, for those sending any decent quantity of physical goods, having to pay for each item each time is not a very efficient way of doing things.

All that said, if I had a small product I needed to just get out to a few people nice and quickly then I probably would just use Kunaki for something like that. Automation has its benefits when you need something done quickly.

It's ok, I was just confused with what you said and what I'd read Will say earlier.

I think the level of service you get wasn't to Wills standard, that's not to say they don't give any.

Not to worry, I wasn't picking on you, I just wanted to know how it worked.

Thanks for taking the time to get back to me Sedaty.

I've used kunaki for membership site and training products.

They also work well when your selling cds on ebay too!
