What does money mean to you?

How fickle are you about money?

One time I photo copied the front of a $20 bill , cut it to size, but the back was just white paper. Folded it looked real. Photocopiers these days are amazing.

I then wen to the mall and dropped it on the floor, stepped back and watched. People saw it, got excited, picked it up, realized what it was, then dropped it. I never had to place it again. No one took it to the trash. I sat there a long time watching peoples reaction to
finding a $20 bill. Very interesting.

For most $20 would not have made any difference in their lives. They were well dressed, out shopping, had plenty of money. Still they got excited to find that $20.

I remember getting $1.00 cash in the mail attached to a letter asking for donations. For some reason getting that $1.00 cash just thrilled me. It didn't change my life at all, but somehow that feeling of getting a free $1.00 bill was intense.

    Money is like food...

Too little and you get angry and frustrated... Too much now that would be a great problem to have.

Recently, I went to see the movie Wall'e' with my 8 year old. While we were waiting for our 13 year old to exit another movie, he and I walked the entire common area (its pretty big).

Well don't you know, he picked up 57 cents in nickels, dimes and quarters that I guess were not so important to someone else.

    Cheers,

    Rob

P.S. I always pick up coins I find on the sidewalk...

      Cool experiment!~

Scott, that's something most people don't do- study the things in the lab called world.

Appreciate you for doing just what most people miss.

They go to seminars, schools and colleges instead of performing such tests!

And you don't even have o *perform*. Just sit and watch.

Try looking at the walking style of people. Sometimes that gives me an indication of the characters around me~

I think most of us are wired to be going excited seeing "free money" or money that is available to you with little effort, that's why get rich scams work.

Money is actually a tool, a medium of exchange. It's originally created to make trading easier. So if you want more money, create more value to others. =)

Look at us, warriors. WHy are we here? To make money. To make more money. To make even more money.

If you say you do business, because it's fun, entertaining, hobby or whatever, you are probably lying.

Money is good, because it allows me to do what I like and invest in my expensive hobbies

Money means I can pay my bills, take care of my daughter and maybe buy
a few nice things for myself on occasion.

I was never materialistic. It's one of the reasons why I sometimes wonder
what I'd do if my business ever made it to the 7 figure a year level.

Yeah, I know. Somebody suggested that I leave it to my kids and their kids
and maybe they'd do something great with it, but aside from that, I certainly
don't need that kind of money.

My mortgage is paid off this December. My daughter only has 2 years of
school left and my idea of a good time is ordering a box of peppermint
    lifesavers from Amazon.

My hobbies are relatively cheap. Even going totally insane last week and
stocking up my recording studio, I only spent $1700.

It was the most money I'd spent on myself in one day in over 5 years.

My average weekly expenditure, not counting my business, is about $20.

Money? I'd rather have nice weather, some good friends, a quiet evening
talking to my wife about stuff and listening to my favorite tunes from
    the 60s and 70s.

I'm a simple guy with simple pleasures.

My wife plays the lottery twice a week.

I haven't bought a lottery ticket in over 30 years.

And I'll bet I'm just as happy as 90% of the folks who have yachts and
fancy cars and homes and whatever.

Happiness comes from within...not from a bank account.

I'm sorry, but in order to do my duty as a faithful citizen of warrior-land I am going to have to make a citizen's arrest and turn you in to the authorities as a self-confessed counterfeiter.

You have the right to remain silent, but anything you do say may be taken down and posted at warrior forum.

I'll also have to ask the courts to take into consideration a related offence of 'baiting innocent shoppers'.
