Default Your favorite affiliate market training for newbies?

I have a couple of relatives who are interested in IM. I recommended they get started wth affiliate marketing since it's one of the quickest ways to get started and learn the ropes. I mean the basic, selling items on Clickbank etc. not getting into CPA marketing or anything advanced.

They are looking for an ebook/training etc to help them get started with the basics.

I was going to recommend "Affiliate God" but I'm never used it personally.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks, RMX

Get the book recommended above. IMO, there is not better guide to start with. As far as I'm concerned it helped catapult my affiliate business into what it is now. Chris Rempel delivers quality, plain and simple.

Hey

Well from my personal success since starting a blog thats exactly what I would recommend to do.. Get a blog up online, post regularly and good things will happen.

Ive actually got my first ever product being released on my blog tonight that is totally free and is a step by step guide to building a blog from scratch, so if that is of any interest or help come grab a copy in a couple of hours from now when it will be there

Good luck with whatever you choose

Dean

Right now we're recommending Michael Brown's Niche Blitzkrieg as our top recommendation, but I can't argue with the above recommendation. I've personally bought quite a few of Rempel's products and they are extremely actionable.

If they truly need step-by-step instructions (including the technical aspects of getting a site up and running), I'd send them to Amy Bass' Niche Blogging WSO. Here's the web address for the WSO (not an affiliate link):
HTML Code:
http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-special-offers-forum/6708-want-try-niche-blogger-free-join-over-650-members-make-5k-month-blogging.html
She's running a promotion right now giving 3 days of access for free, so they can try it out to see if they like it.

It's a monthly fee, but it's the most thorough "system" I've seen...true "hand holding" when needed. Lots of tutorials, videos and individual help available. It's set up in a day-by-day, step-by-step format. It's perfect for newbies to learn at their own pace.

You might try Ken Evoy's Affilate Masters course. It is very extensive and covers everything.

I'd also recommend "Confessions..." as mentioned above. My one word of advice would be that if your relatives are TOTALLY new, then it might be a bit advanced for them, as it doesn't cover basic stuff like setting up websites, html stuff, etc. But if they already know that stuff or you're willing to give them some guidance (or they're self-starters and willing to find out what they don't know on their own), then I'd say Confessions is almost a no-brainer.

I would recommend you listen to the 2 1/2 hour audio teleseminar on Todd Browns blog.

It's free, there are no sales pitches and it is packed with information.

Hands down Michael Brown's Niche Blitzkrieg is the best training course for beginners. He has a knack for making complicated things easy to understand. His great videos and lesson plans are structured in a way for anyone to follow his system. I highly recommend it. Check out my review on it.

I think Wealthy Affiliate is good because of their forum and you have a keyword tool, free hosting, Site Rubix Website builder, and a lot of other goodies that comes with the membership. Two other great programs are the 4 Day Money Making Blueprint and Wealth Quest Community College (both by David Bocock).

some of Ewen Chia's stuff on AM is very simple and basic to follow, ideally for newbies.

His 'SuperAffiliate' membership program could be one u can look into.

Well, between this forums and a few ebooks you can get for free with a search on google, they should get a good start. I also have a blog that I just started below where I will be adding some training videos on this subject very soon!
