Any Google Page Rank update?

I haven't seen much of a hussle on this topic for sometime. The last update happened atleast 3 months back and I was wondering when finally Google takes the pains to update.
I don't think that Google will take the pains to update during Christmas, but any ideas on when we shall be able to see the green bars jumping up and down and all of us tearing our hairs and chewing our fingers

    It will happen when it happens. PR is not important. Your search engine rankings are what makes money.

    According to a popular Google spokesperson, your site's PR is updated constantly, however they only update the "public version" of your PR every few months. So even though it may look the same in your toolbar, it could be completely different as we speak.

    So I guess what I'm saying is that you shouldn't listen to your posted PR...but, as the previous poster said, listen to your current and trending search engine rankings.
