Hi Warriors,

I have just completed my first site and would luv any advice or feedback Warriors more experienced then me can give:

Dream Body

I haven't made a single penny from this and have been working on it in my spare time outside my dayjob, so few hours in the evening. I have focused on getting as many elements of the site right as possible and so my big sticking point now is driving traffic to the site to convert to sales so any advice on that would be super appreciated also :-) Can't wait till I see that first sale going through, and hopefully like everyone's dream on here, i'll be able to make it full-time one day, but hey need to learn something about marketing first as don't know a thing

Many thanks in advance and kindest regards,
Your Fellow Apprentice Warrior Raja R ;-)

it looks to me like there is just too much of a hard sell going on. a promo video, some products and an optin form are going to all but scare your visitors off. convince them as to how and why your product is worthy of their attention by using enticing copy.

can offer more thoughts if you see my signature

Great voice over - is it your voice?
I am no pro to evaluate, but to my eye there are too many bullet points. It's like there are so many things that are offered, that I am lost - if I would be the buyer, I would just want to focus on 1 product at first, and only later see all extras that I am getting.
But in general, the site looks pretty awesome!
For conversions, you might want to add more of a personal story there, some more text telling how it worked for you or smth similar.

Do you think it would be better if everything below the video and the yellow 'Get the dreambody program' tab should not be there. So basically keep the video and that is centre focus (Along with the Awebber opt-in box) and then when people click on the yellow tab, they get re-directed to that particular page with all the DVDs?

      Many thanks and kindest regards,
      RajaR

PS - Any marketing tips would be useful too :-)

It is not my voice, and I paid $100 for the homepage video, if you want something like that made, I can put you in touch with my contact :-)

my opinion is that you shoud focus more on benefits! the site looks ok. But change the order button. make it more clickable . have you tested the page?

As a consumer. if i land on this page i feel like all your after is my email and name...you want their email but you're after the consumer to make a purchase...i would create a call to action above the fold that will direct the consumers to the checkout page because thats really where you want them going...

Also, i like the video but i think it's tough to expect consumers to sit there and listen to a video for 2-3 minutes...i still think it should be a focus but i think the bullet points for the products is actually more valuable to the consumer...As a consumer i want to know what makes this product different and i want to see some real life examples of how it worked...thats what's going to make me want to purchase the product...

i would also change the color of the text or the image of the women in the background for the newsletter sign up section...on my computer it was tough to read the bullet points because of the large woman and green background...

Best of luck to you sir...I'm sure you'll have sales coming shortly as long as you keep at it.

    Hey RajaR,

Your site looks good, I can see that you did an awful lot of work. I agree with some of the above comments, it is offering to much stuff so folks will get confused.

Focus on one product or just focus on getting an email address. Build trust....

I do like your video, a little long but nicely done.

I can see right now that you will do well in IM. There are a lot of great folks in this forum that will lend a hand and will give some great advice and information....glean it!

      IDEAPLANS:
Thank you for the short and sweet advice, your two cents is much appreciated. How do you mean tested the page? I know everything works on there, is there some other sort of testing I should do? And what do you mean make the button more clickable mate - Like bigger?

      COPEAC STEVENS:
Thanks for the homework :-) I will be working to implement it all over this weekend!!!

      DENISJOR:

Raja, you are most certainly welcome.

I love enthusiasm and I can see that you have it. Don't give up..no matter what!!

In response to recommending some people on this forum, would take a whole thread in itself. Not to worry, my friend.....ask and they will provide!!

I think it is great you have a video there but it is 14 minutes which, to me, seems very long. You should have text that explains basically the same things your video says for those who don't want to spend 14 minutes watching. Otherwise, the text on your page is only sales-pitch product-info and doesn't really give any depth.
