Have to stop using the word 'News' in domains...

Here's part of an email I just received from ClickBooth.

Clickbooth is asking that all members of the network immediately cease use of the word "news" in the domain names of sites being used for marketing and promotional purposes.
At first I thought they were joking...

Those sites basically trick your average user.

I can understand why they're trying to stop them.

Just banning the keyword 'news' isn't going to do much though. There's tons of other words which can give the impression a site is a news site.

'Times' for example (I saw a site using this the other day for **** - forced continuity).

If they keep banning words trying to keep up to these scammers, before you know it the entire dictionary will be banned...
