New EzineArticle Stats

Chris Knight has been making some really great improvements over at EA, and I suspect more are on the way. I really liked the new new status bars that tell you what stage of approval your article is in. That really helps to learn to "time" the publication of your article.

But then I checked my stats. Wow! These graphs go down to the article level to see all the stats.

I always thought my articles got the most clicks during the first few days after it was published, but here's just one article's click-through rate. Form digging through my articles, this seems to to be pretty typical.

My guess is the peak is when it gets indexed by Google and starts getting SE traffic.

    I saw that last night, but didn't realize that you could click again on the graph to drill down further.

    One thing that I noticed is that I submitted a new article and the status is "Draft" instead of "In Review". I received the submission email, so it must be a bug.

    Anyone else getting this when you submit an article?

      It happens to me sometimes, just make sure the article is in review and then delete the "duplicate" one that is in the draft stage

        Cool. Thanks for telling us. I hadn't logged-in since about a week but I did just now and yeah, the new features are really good - especially the graph stats for each article.

      Yes the new features are very helpful...

      I particularly like the feature where you can see the monthly views for an article.. Helpful to see it your article is getting views month after month..
