I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I have seen many people on oDesk who offer writing services, but I think they're just individual freelancers, not companies that take orders for article packs. In any event, you could use oDesk and other platforms to get leads for deals that you want to do outside of such marketplaces. That's what some people on fiverr do.

Plain and simple: Warriors For Hire.

The big problem for some people is the lack of visibility. If you don't make your thread the good way, you wouldn't have a lot of customers and your $20 wouldn't be a good investisment. The easy way is to check to similiar thread with a lot of reply and you may get a spot for a long time.

If you need help to write your offer, PM me.

        Good luck

Fiverr...why undersell yourself? I *significantly* increased my prices now after the last Google slap. People want quality. Let the losers buy on fiverr.... Get some reputation on forums like here and sell your services. My $0.02

I would definitely use the Warriors For Hire section. Although it might seem like there's a lot of competition, spend some time researching it and put together a great post and you'll be able to stand out as a quality writer. Then, link to your service in your sig and make useful posts around the forum. Although it'll initially take effort, eventually you'll also find that - if they're happy with your work - buyers will refer you to their friends and your business will grow without as much effort.

It all rests on making a good first impression and being professional with your clients. Good luck!

Freelancer.com is a good place to find work. I use fiverr as an intro, quite often I upsell them outside of fiverr. I have gained a few long term clients from fiverr.

    Bozigian,

You might want to take a look at Colin Palfrey's Ghostwriting WSO as that has some useful ideas for getting business in.

I've also just noticed a free WSO, Services Marketing Genie, that Colin is offering which covers finding clients that might help. I would stress though that I've not used it yet as I've only just seen it.

I agree with the suggestions to build your own site....or preferably...BLOG. You can provide samples of your work, build a list to announce discount writing services if biz is slow, build a following, and optomize for the search engines.

I would also check out Elance. I was just hired to write 30 unique content articles for $250. I bid lower than their budget, but I was up against many writers and it was in a niche I'm very knowledgeable at, so you can build a presence there as well.

    .....back to writing...........

    Cheers,
    Terri

    Bozigian,

You are on a marketing forum so you have an advantage over most writers - you know your abilities are in demand!

What you need to do is some basic research and assemble a list of places where internet marketers talk.

This forum is a classic example but there are many forums and even Facebook groups that are frequented by marketers. Go where the marketers are and make sure they see your offers, while avoiding breaking any rules as you want a long-term business.

I am hopeful that this latest Google maneuver will be of great help to all ghostwriters looking for a fair price, and certainly it seems that way my end.

    Cheers,
    Colin Palfrey

If you are a good writer you can sell your articles at Constant Content. You can sell a 500 words article for $20 - $40. However, CC’s guidelines are too complicated. They keep rejecting articles if they are not perfect enough. You have to learn their guidelines very well, and basically become a perfect writer in all ways to sell your articles there.

However, why not spend some time learning their guidelines and studying many different writing techniques, so that you may be able to sell your articles for very good prices? Be a good student, and make money selling your articles at Constant Content for very good prices instead of selling your work for $1 at sites like odesk and elance. Learn CC’s guidelines very well, study very well the English language and all its rules, and then sell a 1000 words article for $98.
