treating buyers better?

Okay, so most email marketers are always talking about segmenting their lists into buyers and prospect lists. They say, the goal is to turn the prospects into buyers. So does that mean they have 2 AR sequences for both lists? How do they "treat" the buyer list better? by offering them better quality "free content"? Wouldn't you want to send the prospect lists the same "better quality content" so that they become buyers as well? Let me know please! Thanks!

Well they just know who to promote products to. They know which ones are buyers and which ones are freebie seekers who need to be turned into buyers.

That doesn't really answer my questions..I know they are trying to turn freebie seekers into buyers. But as for the autoresponder sequences do you have 2 separate ones? Do they send the better quality content to buyers?
