There is no "best" method. Many different methods work, provided they are executed properly. It all depends on what type of business you want to promote and the budget you have available to promote it.

You might be interested in recruiting affiliates to do the selling for you. Create a system they can follow, package it up into a presentation, and let them do all the footwork. That's a great way to scale up.

    mt33...

It's really not possible to give you a legitimate answer without
knowing a lot more about what your business.

"my purpose is promotion with lawn sign ! my business is direct selling ."

That isn't nearly enough info for me to tell you how to market the business.

Anyone who tries to give you an answer without getting more info is
someone whose advice I would likely avoid.

If it is an offline business....you should get it an "online" version as well.

...as said above...there is no single "best" method...but utilizing many methods..is best.

I agree, get your business online! It’s the easiest way to market your product, with the help of the Social Media, which is the “IN” thing now

so you're talking about an offline bricks and mortars business and which online marketing strategies to use?

    Here's something to think about:
    - What's your irresistible offer to get people in the door or for the phones to start ringing?
    - Have you developed a sales funnel and for buyers?
    - Claim your place in "Google Places" so that you can leverage google maps
    - Add a voucher or your offer on google places which can be seen on Google maps
    - integrate both your offline and your online marketing together to cross promote your marketing
    - Use social media to help build an online presence
    - Create fantastic content surrounding the uses of your product instead of trying to sell your products directly. Think of how some supermarkets have free recipe books on how to cook great dinners under $10 but they're indirectly promoting their produce. This type of content promotes value and yet is a soft sell into their own products.

    Good luck
