Flippa Question re: Hosting for Sold Sites

I am considering using this site that offers templates and editing software built into the hosting service. The site is the best I've found. The only downside is the site has to remain hosted there because if moved it can't be edited anymore due to code restrictions set in place. The hosting is dirt cheap - $5 bucks a site because it's Reseller Hosting that we will provide.

UPDATE: More Clear Information:

The domain can be transferred to the customer. The site can be too however, the site is made with private software owned by the hosting company whereas it must remain on the server to allow editing. The customer DOES have full access and control of the site to edit it themselves through the software if it remains on the server. The software becomes part of their hosting package that we provide to them.

Would I be able to still sell a site on Flippa and in the ad let them know hosting most remain on my server in order for the site to be updated. I was thinking of offering them free updates for the first 6 months being that most wouldnt won't be web designers and thats why there buying sites to begin with.

Please let me know your thoughts.

$5 per month? Are you talking about Homestead? When you sell sites, the buyer wants to get control of the domain and website. Can the buyer transfer the entire website sans the auto-editing system? If not, some buyers might be hesitant to buy your site.

Homestead LOL...sorry but no it's not Homestead. It's reseller hosting and that is why the hosting is so cheap. The site is legit - that is not my concern. The domain can be transferred to the customer. The site can be too however, the site is made with private software whereas it must remain on the server to allow editing. That should be fine, you can offer 6 months or more of free hosting with the auction, but you'd have to make it very clear within your auction listing that the site must be hosted with you in order for the customer to edit the website.

You don't want any misunderstanding to crop up later on, so I'd really emphasize that fact in the auction listing so that prospects don't overlook this.

I would never buy a site on Flippa with those restrictions. I want a clean html site or blog and I want to move it to my own hosting. I think it's a bad move.
