Do I stand a chance?

INTERNET MARKETING

Before I begin competing for page 1 on Google, do I even stand a chance?
#1 - wikipedia/[KEYWORD]
#2 - a youtube video
#3 - [mainkeywordDomain]
#4 - urbandictionary.com/[KEYWORD]
#5 - [keywordFORUMS.com]
and so on...

I'm concerned about not getting above wiki and youtube since it's nearly impossible to out-rank them, should I even try competing?

Short answer. Nope.

Especially if Wiki have the keyword in the title, description or H1 tag.

Find a niche, of which wikipedia hasn't have the main keyword in it's title.
