You could try creating some ads in any section you see fit. Sometimes it is hard to get the ads to stick though....
You could market some CPA's or your own business.. whatever you want really but most of the time it will be seen as spam....

I see you are a war room member and there is a good post in there on the first page still I think about craigslist forums!

I have been trying to push Short Sale properties on Cl. I do not over post and constanly change the add around. If you sign up for an account it is easier to get shut down. I also use a totally different e-mail address, because posting on CL will draw spammers. If you have different IPS it is easier to post the same article add two times in a day. If you post the same add thru CL on the same days there filters will pick it up instanlty.

You can also read on the Offline Marketing section about some one making 9500 on CL

This is true, when using your own account overposting is a big no-no, I'd not post more than 3 ads within 48 hours to remain safe. Of course, the easiest way around this is using different IPs, but you'll definitely have to rewrite your ads so that they're sufficiently unique in CL's eyes.

I think that being able to track the clicks from there is important. Otherwise if you have ads on different classified sites as well, like Backpage, it might not be evident to know where the clicks are coming from.

What's my views on marketing on craigslist? Well I've known it's been around for a while and I've seen many guides for sale, ebooks etc saying how to make lots of money on CL in many different ways what have ya. But I've never tried them myself. I think CL is just like any free-to-post classified ad type website similar to gumtree.com. If you have the time to work out how it works and what sort of people go on there and what they are looking for then you could make some money I guess by linking to affiliate websites or advertising services and websites etc which is what people do. There's lots of CPA type offers on CL I think.. It seems people are taking advantage of that on CL atm.

I would say, it's probably got potential. If you're considering doing the same, have a search around online for guides and info and inside stuff from people who've done/do it also see what you can learn. And mostly get stuck in. If you have something to advertise then sign up an account and post it to a category in a city somewhere. Like said above you can re-post it to a different city but change it around a bit and what not. Over time you'll probably get really good at it and know what people are posting so learn what's hot and be able to do better than them.

I believe there's even some craigslist poster somewhere. I tried one once but never got far with it myself I was interested in other things but I am sure there's a coder somewhere who has made or is making something to dominate CL and cashin from it.

I started my business through using craigslist. Does it work? yes, but you need to make it work for you.

I am still considering CL for one of my marketing methods so that I reach out to local businesses. But I'm looking for the right method that will attract new customers to my services.
