Ways to find affiliates for my product

Hey there,

what are the best places to find affiliates for my own product?

I use clickbank and some affiliates promote my offer because they found it in the marketplace.

Where can I recruit more affiliates? Any good sites/forums?

Thanks
Jack

Thanks for your hint. Are the chances high that some affiliates come automatically at ejunkie without extra promotion?

Has somebody more ideas where I can actively recruite affiliates for my product?

Another way is if you are selling say a pdf report, you could offer them 100% commission if they send prospects to your site and buy from you. So at the end of your report, you could have a special affiliate link that they can use to mail to their list. Of course, you give away 100% commission, but in return you get to build your list.

I agree with this. You've got loads of people here that could easily increase your sales if you reach out and form relationships.

A simple way you can increase sales from the affiliates you already have is make sure you have an extensive affiliates area. Provide resources, articles, auto-responder emails, keywords, banner ads, give them everything they need to promote your product. Even start a list with your affiliates and provide them tips on where to sell, how to market, etc.

Many people over look this step, but the more you set your affiliates up to succeed, the more money you'll make on your product!

    G'day Mate,
Itink I might be one of those affiliates by the look of your username.

Recently I have shifted my focus from clickbank to another program that offers the one thing clickbank will never provide.

INSTANT Payments on sales. I joined as a Vendor and listed my product, I then advertised the Instant commission side of things and whammo affiliates joined.

Problem is the same as clickbank though, once the affiliate sees the marketplace they forget they joined your program and head off promoting some of the bigger paying products.

the 100% commission thing is great if you have upsells and cross sells. If you have just one product then its a list building excercise.

Personally I use between 50% and 90% depending on the offer etc, a Man has to eat.

I highly recommend this program and it is used by many warriors.
Pay Instant Commission and sign Up more affiliates.
    Digiresults
Is the program and I can highly recommend it.
(yes thats my link I get 30% of your fees for a year)
My fees for a $37 product are $2.35 + Commission to the affiliate Very reasonable.

    Hope that helps mate

It’s very difficult to recruit affiliates, and even if you find them, they may simply post a link at their website promoting your product, and nothing else. If you want to find active affiliates, you have to get known and have a personal contact with various sellers through forums. You may find affiliates here at the Warrior forum. (This is my secret dream).

Today I visited for the first time a forum about affiliates, and I even posted 2 messages asking them about how to recruit affiliates, and what they look for when they choose a product to promote. You may like it:

I found this information in a PDF I got at the War Room. I never thought about becoming a war room member because I thought that all the information there was mainly for webmasters, and I know nothing about html codes. However, after reading various posts with questions about the war room, I understood that it’s a very interesting place, and I became a member. There is a membership fee ($37) that lasts for 20 years. This is one of the best investments you can make. The war room is pure gold. The information you find there is really superior. Whish I had enough time to read everything I find there.

Bottomline. You're not going to have much success wishing affiliates will come to you.

You need to go actively look for them, and contact them.

You said your product is on ClickBank... I'd reason to guess other people have products that would be complimentary to yours on CB as well, right?

    *Contact them.

*Give them a free copy of your product so they can decide for them self it's any good.

*Also (and this is a big one) know your EPC. If you don't know how well your product is converting no one is going to take you seriously.

You're not going to "get" affiliates - you're going to have to find them.
