Your Article Body Contains Banned Domains!( .hop.clickbank.net )

I'm trying to post an article about abs and I have one clickbank link to a product selling a book. Why am I getting this? Did articlebase stop allowing clickbank links or what?

    Not only do affiliate links in an article look bad, but if the link goes down now article base is stuck with a bad link.

    Using a redirect you can easily fix that problem on your end. That is ultimately good for you and the article directory.

        create a subfolder in any of your websites to hold them, for example:

        /recommends

        then create a sub subfolder for each product you are recommending. So it looks like:

        /recommends/cbproduct-name/

        inside that subfolder upload a file called index.html

        inside that file put:

        Code:
        <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
        <html>
        <head>
        <title>Your Page Title</title>
        <meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="0; url=http://www.the-domain-you-want-to-redirect-to.com"></HEAD>
        <BODY>
        Optional page text here.
        </BODY>
        </HTML>
        EDIT: please note, this redirect will not show in your stats. There are other methods that do.

        Hope it helps,
        Sandra

      The best URL shortening service to track click-throughs and conceal affiliate links is any one that you own and control yourself.

      To put it mildly, it's not sensible at all to rely on the continued availability, goodwill, reliability and changeable terms of service of any third-party URL-shortening service.

      There were a few hundred Warriors here last year who would have told you the same (and in fact did) when all their Tinyurl links suddenly disappeared overnight.

      And if anyone tells you that "bit.ly's not going anywhere", and "has good customer service", just invite them to read this recent post on Ben Metcalfe's blog: The .ly domain space to be considered unsafe | :Ben Metcalfe Blog.

      For $5 you can go to Fiverr and have someone install your own cloaker/tracker on your own hosting, even if you don't know how to do it yourself. Be in control of your own business and not dependent on unnecessary third-party services you can't control!

    I would use a free re-direct service. Go to www.opt.to and use their free re-redirect service. This should solve this issue.

    it is very bad using redirect as you will hardly rank on any keywords. if you want to follow my advice the you can either build a squeeze page for yourself that is pre-selling the product or you can use domain masking and cloaking.

      How will it hardly rank on keywords what does the affiliate link have to do with it?

      if you have problems with the redirect, there is a space missing:

      0;url= etc... should have a space

      0; url

      I am changing it in the code too. You can pick it up from there.

      Sorry.
