why will it not work for me?

Hi,I guys its been four months and I have not yet made a sale,I will not give up because I really want to be able to make a living online. I have bought many products from internet gurus and none of them have worked, In fact, the one I purchased recently which was mass money makers, their site got shut down a few days ago and I cannot seem to access the product anymore. Please if anyone could help me guide me to make sales, I have been extremely depressed about not being able to make a sale with all of my hardwork and dedication that its ruining my health through the last four months. I just do not know what I can do now to make sales please if anyone out their can guide me,that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Browse through the threads in this forum. Learn tricks from others. Once you think you have got enough ammunition, enter the battlefield.

    But make sure that you do something useful. Don't try to be a scam artist.

    Hang in there buddy.. You shouldn't have brought that many products from online guru. Set small goals and keep focusing on traffics while continue to work hard on your sale promotion. I'm sure soon enough your effort and dedications will pay off. Best of luck! What are you selling anyhow?

      So you are selling fitness product. How are you promoting your product? One thing you have to keep in mind that selling fitness product is a challenging job. I can suggest you few tricks:

      > Make a video of your product. This video should contain a persons getting fit using your product. Try to make this video very attractive.

      > Write an original article of your product and post them to different sales forums, blogs with the video.

      I think these two tricks will help you a little. If you get any benefit from the trick please let me know that. I will be happy hearing from you.

    Are you selling fitness products through an affiliate, or do you have your own ecommerce website? If you have your own website, you need to do some SEO work in order to get your site up in the search engines and get some traffic.

    Traffic is what is important here, not how good your product is, not how many links you have on spammed to death websites. TRAFFIC! More traffic more sales!

    Traffic yes I agree is key to bringing in sales, but it must be targeted traffic. The best is organic traffic coming from ppl looking for something they "need" and you have these keywords built properly into your web pages, etc.
    However, without some examples to see of your websites, we can't really provide suggestions on specifics - even if your "call to action" or pre-sales pitch is good or not.

    Definitely stop buying stuff for a while. Read. Read the All-in-one threads here. They are unbelievably helpful! It is hard to say without knowing the entire situation what could be stopping you, but I bet if you spend some serious time reading the free info here at the forum, you will figure it out on your own.

      Perhaps you should try a different niche? Health and fitness is a massively competetive market and if your just starting out then you wont get very far. Focus on smaller less competitive niches and im sure you will have more success

    I know exactly how you feel. I've been where you are and it is very frustrating. Here recently I decided that I've been going about it the wrong way. All the get rich quick schemes that I know we have both paid good money for don't really work and the ones that do work are complicated and hard to follow. Plus you can always tell they are holding out on you, not telling you the whole truth and that leaves people like us guessing at how to actually make money with these programs.

    My advise...Research, Research, Research. Read everything you possibly can. Blogs, Forums, How to Manuel's, everything. Take your time...concentrate on one thing at a time. Once you master it, move on to something else and master it. Don't try to do it all at once, you are sure to overwhelm yourself.

    V92, it takes awhile to start seeing results. I put up a niche website months ago with an Amazon astore. Since then I have been writing blogs, submitting my site everyplace I can find, doing research, and anything else I can do in the way of seo. It's been very frustrating, and I've wanted to throw my hands up at times. But when I last checked my amazon associate account, I noticed I'm starting to get some clicks. At least it's a start. Getting traffic takes a lot of time and effort. Don't give up. Good luck.

      Some people will tell you how easy it all is and how they are making tons of cash everyday. Hearing that kind of nonsense so often can make you start to question yourself and wonder what is wrong with you. You've tried many of the products from these gurus so now you know the reality of that stuff. Obviously, it didn't work which means (providing you gave it an honest effort and truly followed their systems) they really don't know how to do it either. Or they don't know how to teach others to do it.

      I really appreciate people like Chevy5 who have the guts to come out and speak the truth and say it has been a real struggle. They still are not making money but they are seeing some results as far as getting some traffic. It's easy to come along and make some grand post and kind of laugh at people saying what's wrong with you? I make $5k in my sleep but not so simple, for many people anyway, to simply say hey I'm struggling here.

      I'm trying to get a few like-minded people together to team up on some small test projects. If you are interested feel free to PM me.

      I am not an IM Guru, not an expert on this stuff but I have been doing IM for 7 years part-time and do make a steady passive income online of more than a few dollars per month. So, I know some things. lol

      Anyway, I'd like to get a little group going where we can all tackle this stuff together.

        Cant pm yet but I would love to be in that group? I would like to say though... Persistance seems to be the key on these forums. Everyone seems to say push on and I think also to tweek what you are doing to see what works. And don't forget the small details. I have been so used to making 0 sales that I stopped putting tracking ids in my links. "what does it matter, no one is buying?" Well, I did have sales... have no idea from where. Its important to always follow through on whatever you do.

    I looked an struggled for years, brought a lot of different things and now I have found research which way you want to go, buy a program that has good support and even mentoring and really work at at.

    This advice I have to still remember myself just persevere.

    Why will it not work for you? Impossible to say without more info. Is the problem traffic or conversion? You really need to be able to determine that. Hopefully the programs you invested in teach you how to get traffic, and how to convert it. Hopefully you are using analytics to track it.

    4 months is not really all that long. I remember back when people were excited to get indexed in Google in that period of time.

    There is a learning curve and a lot of different directions to go. It creates a lot of mental overload. It doesn't help that newbies are bombarded with overly hyped promises of magic formulas, that don't really exist. There is no magic push button solution. Everything comes down to traffic and conversion. Try to figure out where the problem lies, and then search the forums, and/or ask specific question about your problem. There are lots of people here willing to offer advice.

    Experiment with other products. Fitness is a very competitive niche.

    There are plenty of others to promote, trust me on this.

    just be patient and don't lose hope .. I will tell you what's wrong.. I have been there, I used to work on this and on that but for no use..
    Now I know what I'm doing and know that I'm doing it right because I spent some time at the beginning educating myself about online business and how it works .. Most people skip this step and go immediately to work .. so my advice for you is to spend some time learning but you need to know who are you learning from because many say that they will teach you but they are liars .. they are just after your money ..
