A discussion about every possible type of Online Marketing

Let's have a good discussion about every possible type of Online Marketing.

*edited for clarity*

So my questions are:
-Which marketing tactic works for you?
-What are its advantages?
-Does it triumph over the rest of them that doesn't work for you?
-What are your experiences with the rest of them? (if any)

Cheers,
David.

    Hey Wishfulsuccess, or David,

I'd love to tell you that they all work, and the truth is they all will.

Best advice is pick one and FOCUS on IT, and i mean ONLY it.

Don't read any threads that don't relate to what you get into, and don't worry about the others until you start making some sort of income with one of them

you see since they are all possible, it doesnt matter if one takes a month or two longer, or makes a slightly higher % of money on AVERAGE

because its just that.. an AVERAGE.. which means choosing one gives you a very close to even chance to succeed ANYWHERE

That is why you see/hear so much about start with what you like/enjoy the most..

that way you learn a lot, and like it, and keep pursuing and moving into other areas and establishing more goals as your career grows,

    Best Regards,

Oh didnt really read the whole thread..

Only opinion I have from experience is they are all worth it, EXCEPT,

Article Marketing.. to much writing, and dealing with two many writers that also don't like writing.. to much of a pain for me

Never and I would start out on focusing on creating your own products.. learn something that you can get good at first

Very awesome tips there actually Tyler. I was falling into the abyss of multi-tasking it was turning me so outrageously muddled. Your post was enlightening. Guess I forgot the basics.

I personally find article marketing pretty exhausting as well, but I think it might be well worth it to a stable profit level. I'm not much of a tech guy, so constantly conforming to the big G would be a big problem for me

Joelawrence, you just caught me guilty there. I was about to step into the PPC/CPA realm actually. You're right, I guess hard work comes first. And then leverage, leverage, leverage.

Kudos Istvan, you're right- clarity has never been my best point these days. I meant for people to mix and match them... well a discussion has to have guidelines. I'd love to do it in the subforum, but i'll have to split this thread into 5 parts. I meant for it to be more of a comparative kind of thread.

And I meant there is no real need for such threads... because all the possible business models and methods, tactics etc. ARE already discussed in this very forum.

Anybody interested in a specific field, territory - can select the proper subforum from the main page and read + participate + debate.

Telling you (as you asked) what method or business model worked for me... won't help you at all. Our previous experiences, personalities, work style, philosophy and goals are so different that my answer would, probably, be useless for anybody else.

Clarity and focus is what you need. The methods do overlap but you are mixing tools (article marketing and PPC) with methods of marketing.

READ the subforums until you can decide which marketing method appeals to you and then learn to do it. You can't do it all at once. I'd drop network marketing as MLM is not the way to go for most new marketers.

In my opinion hard work works the best in this business.

See I often tried some "lazy" things like ppc-marketing pr ppv marketing, where I just set up a campaign an "earn money on autopilot" - like so many marketers say.

The problem is that most of the time I just was throwing money out of the window because it'S really hard to establish a profitable campaign. That'S why I almost never use this kind of marketing nowadays.

Instead I just work hard. Creat a website and promote how much I can. In my opinion every kind of free promotion works.. let it be article marketing, SEO, social media marketing, you name it...

The more you work, the more exposure you create, the more money you earn in the of the day.

Of course the big CON is the huge amount of work. But I would rather work hard and get visitors for free, than trying to establish a successfull ppc campaign by throwing hundreds of $$ out of the window..

That would be this forum: just go to the main page and look at all the subforums... and after reading them all we can discuss it further

You are mixing traffic generation methods (e.g. PPC) and business models (e.g. selling own product). Not a good starting point for a meaningful discussion...

I use almost every method there is besides article marketing. The reason i don't get in that field is because i hate writing.

I will tell you a secret method that is starting to grow. Yahoo Answers for back links

Find a question similar to your niche, answer the question as best you can. Hope to get best answers.

Google Ranks Yahoo Answers very high on Google. How do I know? Well just Google something and i guarantee you will find a yahoo answers link in the top 20.

    Have a good day!
