Best Membership Script?

Hey,

I want to turn this product Stop Blushing ..... Start Living - How to Prevent and Cure your Embarrasing Blushing Problem into a recurring monthly membership site.

They pay for the product and they get the membership site too, I want to set the membership site on this domain and server...can anyone point me in the right direction?

I pretty much want to put up PLR self-help products and maybe a forum. Nothing too complicated.

  • My vote goes to Amember. Agreed, it's a WP plugin but found it to be well worth the price. Best one out there imo. Allows for lots of stuff, forum integration, tiered memberships, different member levels, time-released information etc.etc.

If going wordpress, I would just go MU / BuddyPress.. hop on over to wpmu dev for a month for $79 (or find the GPL software otherwise) and get all the plugins and themes needed.

forum, live chat, support tickets, member only, recurring billing etc all built in

Bill Myers has a free membership option for members of his site: Free for members: Pay-per-View site Creation software - download now! Not sure if that is exactly what you are looking for.

If you want more control, better payment options and integration with an existing website you can't go wrong with http://www.dlguard.com . DLGuard has many extra features over and above the Membership option.

Most are very complicated with a learning curve.

Just take the time to sit down and learn one basic.

He's right, I would never trust an opt in form on a squeeze page either...

And I would also never trust a product sold on a 58 year old squeeze page created by someone with no grandpa experience. :p

If you rebuild your site using Joomla, you can use the AEC plugin to control membersip and the Fireboard plugin to run the forum. It's all free/open source. You can keep a static front page, too.

In my experience, aMember is a perfect membership script for creating membership sites. It works well with vBulletin, Joomla, WordPress and supports a variety of payment options including PayPal, 2Checkout, Authorize.Net, PaySystems and Clickbank.

Amember is a perfect example of how to lose money running a membership site, and shows a distinct lack of knowledge of the dynamics of a membership site and how they create revenue.

I guarantee that converting to LFM and using the revenue creating features will at least double revenues, and in some cases triple it.

Having spent 10 years earning my income on line with memberships, i know how to use them to maximise revenues and keep the retention rate at twice the industry average using normal membership strategies.

Most of the things you think you know about running membership sites is wrong, and the normal software choices out there condemn people to restrictive and for the most part outdated revenue strategy.

GRRRR dont get me on my soapbox

WishList Member on a WordPress blog works great for me on my main website. It works with all the main payment processors and give you huge flexibility in the way you can deliver your content.

If you combine this with the OptimizePress theme you've got the perfect solution because you can then set up Evergreen launches for your membership site.

What is the LFM product that Roger Puddy recommends as a more efficient revenue generator than amemberpro?
