INTERNET MARKETING

People are giving away insanely good advice on their WF blogs.
I've now found 3 that have impressed me. It's very generous
of people to share so much...

I'm wondering if the WF blogs get indexed, ranked, or otherwise
spidered and used by Google. Does anyone have a clue about
this? Has this already been discussed? I mean, it wouldn't be
hard for folks to "exploit" this benefit of the WF. It could be a
nice boost for folks trying to get started.

John, yes it has been discussed.

The blogs get indexed rahter fast.

Most people's response to the last thread that discussed this was..."shhhhh".

I'm not sure if they're just selfish by nature or wanting to safeguard against the very exploitation you mentioned.

This entire forum gets indexed quickly. As a test one afternoon, I bought a domain name, put up some unique content on it, and then put a link to it in my sig file here. In one hour and fifteen minutes, my new site was indexed by Google.

You can say that again. A few times I've read something interesting in a thread and then ran a Google search to look for more information...and sure enough there's the very post I was just reading at or near the top.
