OnlineIncomeSchool - Opinion on Domain Name?

I just registered OnlineIncomeSchool.com without real concrete plans for it.

Was hoping for some thoughts or insight on the domain name.

Good snag?

Well here is what the Google wonder wheel relates to that term:

    make money online school
    online financial school
    internet income school
    income tax school online
    online jobs school
    online salary school
    online business school
    online surveys school

They are just a few ideas of the different directions you could go.

Set up a nice step by step system for making money online - that's a perfect name for something like that. A membership site with video lessons perhaps.

That's not true, the domain name itself, does factor in Google search results (as well as back links). It is the best way to get to #1.

And don't forget Google makes keywords bold, so if your domain name is a direct match for the keyword phrase, your domain will be bold as well as keywords in the copy.

I once had a similar domain, and had some real plans for it. But... oh the procrastination!

I like Sheryl's idea though... a membership site with video lessons. Think "social/web 2.0" there and you have a HUGE thing in the making. That wasn't my idea though. It just knocked me up this minute, inspired by Sheryl Polomka + Facebook (open in another tab in the browser).

I think you should take Sharm's advice, read it twice and act.

You would get great exposure with a lot of free content will still providing a choice to "take it to the next level".

Since I do not yet have a presence in the MMO niche, I is a little hard for me, or I am a little hesitant to jump right into a continuity program with the requirement of me continually providing top notch material.

However, I am thinking they I may provide a free series of 4-10 reports on individual topics in IM, such as:
        • Picking Niches
        • Blog creation
        • Article Marketing
        • Email Marketing

    I don't like it.
You need something that is inspired. For example onlinesmarts, onlinegenius, smartacademy, - u know, something catchy, zippy etc.

Just because it's an online school doesn't mean u have to use the exact description in the domain name. I know u want to score well with the search engines, but don't sacrifice everything just to do an exact match domain name. It's not worth it and u can still rank well without an EMD name.

You shouldn't go too far in the opposite direction either. You don't want to name it something that nobody has a clue of what it is.

    Here's a Tip:
1 - write down what your business or service is
2 - see how many different types of words that are associated with it or that describe it
3 - make a long list of domains that use the same root word
4 - when u have enough variations - ask friends which ones they like
5 - select the ones u like and just narrow it down until u get a winner

Also keep in mind that you want something that's easy to type, remember and spell.

    good luck!

Disagree 100%. The OP's new domain name is fabulous.
I can think of about a thousand ways to monetize it this
      afternoon.
