Keep in mind that PPC is merely a way to direct traffic to your offers. It really comes down to the amount of money you're willing to spent to get that traffic.

Consider the formula of risk versus reward. How much will you be making on your offer? Now figure that against the estimated cost per click you will incur through Adwords, etc. At some point, you will lose money or make money.

It is not a matter of niche. The niche, and it's associated keywords, will have price estimates per click. So if you have money $20/day, the bigger, more competitive niches, will EAT YOU ALIVE.

    Good luck with it!

I would start out by listing things you're interested in and going through them and doing the research on competition, costs involved etc. Although you could pick a random niche based on what's working for others, it's not going to necessarily work for you. If you can find something you at least have some interest in then I think that will help.

    I'd recommend the health niche.

There are a lot of products and keywords to choose from.

And there is also a lot of traffic out there in the health niche, so if you're spending a $20 daily budget you won't have to wait a few days to get the traffic.

I'd also recommend you write a report or compile some videos to give away in exchange for name and email....you'll make more money building a list than just offering them a product for 3 minutes while they're on your site once.

you can go to Google Trends and type the niche that you have in mind to see how successful it is and you can compare two or more niches to see which is better .

another way is to go to google and write in the search area " external keyword tool "
add the niche that you are thinking of to see how many searches have been made monthly, of course the more searches are made the more profitable this niche is ..
I hope this will help you ..

  • Assuming this is your first niche (and not just your first one with PPC) I'd echo the comments about starting with something you're interested in. It will motivate you to create the site and content, and even if it doesn't perform brilliantly, at least you've produced a site you can be proud of (and know that you can produce the next site quickly).

From the successful PPC marketers I've seen, I've noticed that volume of sites (and how quickly and efficiently they can be produced) is the key - and then it's a case of trying out the campaigns and testing them to see which are going to be profitable. Work more on the winners and don't work on the others.

It would be good to start out in some of the more high volume niches like health, fat loss, weight loss and others, only because the sheer volume will help you to build a subscriber list. As with any marketing, especially with pay per click, it is essential to build a list so you can market to your clients many times over - that will give you a solid return for your invested click cost.
