how to find software product ideas?

Hey everybody,

I'm a nooby and I'm sorry if this question was asked before, but I'm stuck at finding a good niche which merge my talents. As you notice, I'm don't have good writing skills neither in English nor in my native language (German, Russian). But I'm a well programmer, i can easily make any kind of , offline or online, for windows, mac or iPhone, etc. I have problems to find a need for a software or software service witch isn't build yet. Can anyone suggest a ebook, strategy or a web-page witch deals with the research of software products?

    Find a software you like and use often and look for ways to improve on it...

    Or look for things that you do in your daily business that can be automated or something to save time...

    People love to save time, if you can find something that is time-consuming (like submitting articles) and find a way to automate the process people will eat it up...

    You can do this for any niche. Instead of choosing a software to fit a niche, find a niche and study it and see what the problems are and create a software that provides a solution to those problems and you will be well on your way to success!

    Read the forums and watch the people and what they say. Pick up on an often discussed "problem", and if possible, solve it with software that you write. You will make money selling your own product. Then set up an affiliate program so others sell it for you. Then go golf...
