How do you convert a Word document to a JPEG? There was a free a application I've used in the past that you "printed" to and saved it as a JPEG. Anyone know what it's called?

Thanks in advance!

You could use a print screen to capture it if the document is not too large?

Save the word doc as a pdf, then open the pdf in photoshop and export it as .jpg.

If you don't have photoshop, open the pdf in adobe reader, use the snapshot tool to copy it to the clipboard, paste it into a new word doc, then right click to save it as a picture (.jpg).

Thanks for all the quick replies! I ended up just doing a print screen & pulling it into PSE, expecting bad results. I was very pleasantly surprised!

I had Googled and tried several of the free downloads with very poor results. They either didn't work or warped my text and/or graphics.

Never thought of that Esteem Ladder! I might try that, too. Thanks!!

Hi! Use one of the free or paid converters to directly convert a Word document to JPEG.

I use Nuance PDF Professional, but it's a $300 software. Anything you need it to do it will do it for you.

Personally, I'd do a print screen and edit the print in paint. It's free and saves you time as well

This forum thread is 4 years old.

OP most likely either figured it out or gave up & went to work at Burger King.

I simply printscreened using a tool called Gadwin Systems which you can find and download through Google search.

Then I saved it and opened it through another application called Paint before cropping the unneccessary edges and resizing it into a proper image.

Afterwhich I saved it as JPG into my drive.

    Hope that answers your questions.

Hi all! To convert Word documents in .jpg format I use Universal Document Converter (http://www.print-driver.com/how-to/convert-word-to-jpeg). After downloading and installing this program, you will have a virtual printer. Send your document to print, select this printer, and then select the output format of jpeg. And enjoy the result.
