Bidding on Facebook PPC Advertising.

I am testing a PPC on Facebook for a dating site. When you enter your bid amount, Facebook makes a suggestion of 1.69-2.96 bid. What happens if I just want to bid 0.15? Anyone knows how this works? Will my ad not appear?

Thx.

you want to run it high for the first day and check it every 4 hours. Their system is based on ctr, so if you run it low, you will get no clicks and thus not get a chance at getting in the mix.

Your add will absolutely appear, it's just Facebook's suggestion. My advice is to atleast go half of the suggested price, and possibly 25% of the suggested price.

Excuse me, is Facebook PPC Advertising similar to adwords, bidding for keywords?

If you just bid $0.15 you will most likely get no impressions. But you can mess anything up. Just play around with it and if it does not work create same ad again and test something else.
