Can I use affiliate links in Craigs List?

Hi warriors,
Can I use affiliate links in Craigs List? Also, Can I post in a different city in a different country other than mine?

Is it possible for me to post in say, 10 different cities - one post each, without being banned by Craigs List? Thanks a lot.

    You can, but as soon as someone sees your affiliate link, your post will be flagged.

    Yes, it is against the CraigsList TOS, but people are always trying it and getting by with it for about ten minutes at a time.

    As to your second question, I know it is also against CraigsList TOS, and I imagine you could get banned on that one. I had an account banned one time by posting the same listing in two cities 80 miles apart. Never mind that I live halfway between the two cities -- I still caught a ban.

    Posting affiliate links on craigs list is a breach of their Terms of Service, but you can post in a difference city or country than your own.

    There is a high chance you will be banned if you do post affiliate links in craigs list.

      If you want to post on Craigs List "Do not sign up" Also do not use the same e-mail address that you use on a daily basis. If you post from two different IP sources that helps also. (Computer at work & home)

      Change the wording around or it will not get posted. Also post in different area's everyday.

      I post real estate daily on CL and have to be creative. You will need to have the affiliate link some where in the descrpition section.

      I doubt you can load it thru the image section. I posted a Click thru for a website yesterday, it has not been flagged because it is not set up as spam. However I do expect it to be flagged down shortly

        1. What is the proper method to effectively post on CL? Do you post your own website link like on a subdomain or something that is a squeeze page?

        2. What is the best CL autoposter these days? I saw that CLAD genius got pwned by CL when I googled it.

          I post an ad, then when anyone anyone emails me, they hit my autoresponder that sends out a little presell and the link. Its the best way to do it, posting an ads with live links is as complete #$&@$ these days. CladG is still around, only there domains got seized by CL. They operate under cladg.com now. Don't get automation software UNTIL you know how to post bulk by hand. If you don't know how to post in bulk manually, getting automation software is NOT going to fix that issue for you.

            I see. Thanks for the input and the heads up. So ok...let me try to understand a little better. You post an ad like in what section and what sort of ad for example? Like looking for a job or something? Then when you get an email it's hooked up to like a thunderbird software?

              It really depends what campaign I am running. For example, if I was looking to post in "services" it would a different ball game then if I wanted to post in Electronics. Some sections I can post bulk in with no PVA's and some sections would require it. I use "theBAT pro" for my autoresponder. I can't really go into the specifics because it wouldn't be fair for those people who paid me for my coaching service. CL is EXTREMELY lucrative if you have the ability and the resources to mass post. Depending on how much you are looking to post per day, the costs can add up extremely quickly (PVA's, Emails, IP solution, etc). Its not a poor mans game like it was a few years ago.
