Hi. Does anyone know if you can put a squeeze page on WP without having a separate domain for it? If so, how to do it? I know there was an article on this floating around on WF but I can't seem to find that thread now. Thanks for the help!

A squeeze page is just a regular web page and you can do this in wordpress with no problem.

It is easier with some themes than with others.

Are you meaning that you want to make the index page of your site a squeeze page?

I just made one yesterday through my self hosted Wordpress blog I do not want to self promote my own link but you can check it out in my sig below. P.M me if you want to know the software I used it only costs $7 bucks I am gonna do a review on my blog about it later on tonight.

You do not need a separate domain for a squeeze page just a page off of your main Url.

I just looked it up the product is called point and click squeeze page. The squeeze pages that you can create look very professional and he has 4 or 5 videos that walk you through the whole process..... Money well spent for $7 bucks.

Sure, you can put a squeeze page on an existing WordPress site. No need to have its own totally separate domain. You can place the squeeze code on its own page (remember to prominently display links to the squeeze page from other important pages and from your home page), or you can do what a lot of marketers do and put the squeeze code on all of the pertinent content pages, as well as your sales page if you have a product. For example, in the margin on the right side of the page above the fold, or at the bottom of the page, or as a javascript delayed popup.

There are some WP-based marketing products which will allow you to easily place squeeze code wherever you'd like. An example is OptimizePress, which is very well regarded by Warriors.

      HiYa WonderWeb,

Although you were not real specific, I think I know what you are really asking.

You see, a squeeze page, a sales page, or even a thank you page needs to be clean and without distraction. A regular page or post inside most WordPress themes has all the clutter of the header, footer, and the side bar. They are just not focused and allows for the visitor to be distracted.

      There are two solutions:

      1. Learn how to use an html editor and create your own page. Then upload it to your server via FTP. I have a blog post with my own videos that show how to do this with free software, if you are so inclined to learn.
      2. Or you can purchase a plugin that will create a new template inside your existing theme. You can find that on my blog too.

      I hope this helps.
