Here is what you should do:

1. Find someone that you respect in your market. (I love internet marketing niche and it is probably the best and most profitable market online)

2. Try to get them as a mentor.

3. Implement everything what they advice you to do.

4. Think like that: "what he would if he was me?"

If you can't afford to get a mentor now, get a product from them AND BEFORE YOU BUY THAT, TELL TO YOURSELF THAT YOU WILL IMPLEMENT THAT NO MATTER WHAT. I started making money when I applyed that

If you don't know who to follow then, I can advice you to follow Lee McIntyre (I am a big fan of him!)

He is one of the best internet marketers in the world and he teaches almost 100% backwards than what all the gurus would teach you.

First of all there is no simple way to earn money, online or offline.

Sometimes you can spend 2 years on the internet without earning even a single cent.

So don't start your internet career with the mindset that it is simple to earn money.

I find this to be a lie. It's very easy to earn money online, you simply need a simple method which you then implement. One could be offering simple, yet different/special things on fiverr.com - Nothing has to be too fancy. When you've earned yourself a starting capital, you could go for the more complex internet marketing strategies. These might take a bit more learning and undertanding hence the fact that they need to run as a real business. The main thing to keep in mind when earning your very first $$ is that you really do have to take action. You'll never earn one single cent from simply learning stuff.

So what it actually boils down to is this:

Learn to take action FAST

Just my opinion.

Making money online is simple, but NOT easy!

It is really very simple.

2. Have a follow up with affiliate promotions.

3. After someone opt ins, send them to a thank you page with 3 affiliate offers/banners

THAT'S IT!

Is it simple?

YEAH!

Is it easy?

NO!!!!!!!

It is not easy to write a HIGH VALUE article every day and submit that as a guest post or to popular site in your niche. You have to be consistant. If you're not - it may even not look simple...

Many people respond to squeeze pages with garbage (throw-away/ secondary) emails. If that works out for you, great...

After someone opts in ?? LOL...There are people running sites for 2 months without a single sales and single opt in..

You can earn money money online if you have your own product.
If you have not got your own product then you can resell others by becoming an affiliate. The trick is to get traffic, through your website, social media.
If you have not got traffic it will be harder to sell in general.

Let's start here:
...what seems easy to me can be impossible for you.

So you have something you are good at (ie. It is *easy* for you)
Do you also enjoy it?
Over time you master that skill (or those skills)

There is definitely no simple way to make money and if there was why would people TELL anyone else!
It's against human nature. If you apply yourself in IM and learn as you go you will have a chance of succeeding. Don't be fooled by the words 'easy' and 'simple'.

This mindset is the biggest cause of failures on the internet! There is NO such thing as making money online!

What there IS...is starting a business and then marketing that business online.

So, what is the BIG difference? Well, when you try to make money online you just chase fads and dreams. However if you decide to start a business you have to pick a product, research it, put a plan together, market it and ultimately sell it.

If you don't want to start a business and you just want to make money...then just get a job :-)

Hi everybody!

A few tips from my experiences -
1- The simplest and fastest way to make money is offer your services on Fiverr.
But it's not the easiest!
When i started on fiverr i was making 4$ an hour... which is enough for nothing!
So if you're desperate go for that, but unless you live in a 3rd world country its just not worth it.

2- Don't quit your day job until you have a solid understanding of what you want to do to make money.
Don't be afraid to experiment, but don't waste your time on things that just don't work.

3- As many have said here, it takes time and experience and I really don't believe the people that say that a newbie could be an overnight success...

4- The key is knowledge, learn as much as you can and then focus your energies to what makes you most excited!

  Risky advice. It totally depends on the personality. That type of adventurous attitude can result in huge loss of time and opportunity.
  
  Plus you cannot deny that a job, how dreadful it may be, provides capital and motivation to start a new venture. Even the "free" methods of earning money cost you a few bucks. And pain can be a great motivator.

If earning income online was so simple, everyone would be rich and the capitalist system's pyramidal structure would all fall apart.

Let me add that once you know how, it is indeed simple, however, to reach the "once you know how" may take you years especially if you're just starting in IM.

I myself teach a simple method, and I say simple because, since I created it, I obviously know it by hard, however and since you never followed my lessons, than it is not so simple anymore. In fact, even after completing my course, some of it will not have sunk in completely, and that would be the case with any system or blueprint out there.

We go to school for years to eventually get a good job. That aint simple, and IM is no different. Sure, you can progress faster in certain areas of IM, but there are topics which need more time and attention such as but not limited to learning Ad Copy-writing, Color Psychology, or even SEO which can become pretty involved.

There are simple ways, but they take work to start off with. If you can create an awesome product, and hook up with someone who is experienced in internet marketing then you can probably make quite a bit of money doing that. That's the easiest way I can think of. Build a list by hooking up with other people. Do JVs.

Build a squeeze page and drive traffic to that page. Build a list of customers and then sell them products and services that will help them solve problems or make life easier for them.

Build a blog and do reviews on products, write articles using long-tail keywords and recommend products. You will need to write between 3 to 5 articles a day for a period of time to really get the traffic coming to yourself.

Sell things around your house on ebay or craigslist.

PPC sites are easy ways to earn money, but then the earnings there are small. If you're willing to work a bit harder on your pay, try starting a blog and get advertisements. Of course you'll have to update the blog regularly and promote it so you'd get clients.

If you like photography, selling your shots can be a good way to earn money. There are loads of sites on the internet that buy photos so you might want to try that if it interests you.

Nothing is as easy as it sounds. Start with affiliate marketing. You won't need your own product to start earning. Plenty of information here to get you started. Learn and make mistakes as fast as possible.

Exactly, sometimes people confuse simple with being easy. Especially when you're using free methods, it can be tedious, time consuming and incredibly mind numbing, and you also need the patience to see this through until you start getting results.

I've been around a month or two into the online business. I started out writing (and I still do) to save some up to further invest in other IM activities. It was a tough start, my 1st client ordered 10 articles and ran away - lesson learned. Anyway, now I just purchased my own domain and hosting, and looking to create a review website/blog on a particular product on clickbank.

It's been said 1 thousand times on this forum - pick one method and stick it out. All of the methods have the potential to make money. How they fail is if you go into a lot of them at the same time half-heartedly. Stick to one method, really concentrate to make it work. At the end of the day if it doesn't work, what you learned doing it was already worth the investment. Then move on to the next method and repeat the cycle. If one method finally works, find a way to automate and then rinse and repeat.
