How many domains do you own on the same host?

I just wan't to make sure that it's ok to have many domains for seo porposes.
They won't be related so I think having 100 on one server is ok?

I have too many..I keep meaning to give them away on Twitter but I always think of new ideas for the ones I want to get rid of..lol

    As for your domains...

I wouldn't keep them all on one server.. I do believe "domain friendships" can be traced back to each other..links may become less powerful that way..

    Peace

    Jay

p.s. The observation I made above was just my opinion based on a short discussion here a while back where I believe we talked about multiple domains on one server

I have 41. Most are on the same server but about 4/5 are on 2 different servers (although they're not connected to the other 36/37 in any way).

I have 21 but it is funny to know I am not making money from any one of them. Some of them were snapped up through odditysoftware with page rank. Can some one tell me how to monetize them.

I lost count, probably over a thousand with over 10 registrars. I am using several different Class C addresses.

I gotta say here - Gene's domain flipping website is one to sign up to. It has massive profit potential.

As for me, just the 10 !

(however seeing as though I can sell Genes domains... I add his domain count to mine :p )

I'm one for focusing on one project - not hundreds!

    Book suggestion: "The Domain Game"

An excellent history of domains and how many are making millions off of domain names

(I will exceed 1 Mil in domain sales by Jan 2009 myself - not bragging, just sharing that it is possible for the average dummy like me)

    Too many domains!

I have actually studied the whole IP scenario and over the past years it seems like the dedicated ip per domain is less important, as it once was in the past. I sometimes will still use a dedicated ip, and other times I will use shared ip's between my server, and other times will use ip's that are on shared servers with many other customers.

I have about 20 and I'm actively monetizing about 5 of them. 2 of them are mine and my daughter's name and so they're just sitting there doing nothing. 4 of them I use to redirect to merchant sites and the other 9 or so...who knows what I'll do with them!

I did have about 15 others that I let expire!

Hundreds & thousands of domain names, I'd freak out!

    My domain portfolio is 3,833
I had started the business of domain and discovered that I need to register all the time. I also loose some to expiration. I register each day once I creatively moot an idea on a niche.
My domains are divided as follows:
    1. I park majority and make daily income from them
    2. Set up tunrkey sites and flip
    3. Create my ebooks, video with plr and mrr and sell
