Do you monitor the conversion rate of your WSOs?

My most recently WSO has been proving the must successful I've ever run (given the other two were pretty much flops).

What I'm wondering, is whether there's any value in paying attention to the conversion rate from views to purchases/sign ups?

Do you only bump the WSO while its still performing above a certain rate?

My first WSO, the only one has done extremely well. Conversions from WF traffic are above 7%. I think this is due to reputation and perceived value of the product. I bump the thread every so often but I think the sig. line works more than the actual WSO thread IMO.

    Andy,

I'm of the opinion that if you want to get better at anything online you
track your numbers... If not for your current product it should give you
great insight for the next whether or not its a WSO.

If you want a great piece of tracking software for tracking any links
anywhere in your selling process go here

    Andy,
Yes...you SHOULD be tracking your WSO conversion rates.

Did you know you can split test a WSO offer?

Did you know you can rotate WSO offers to determine which one is performing the best in real time? (As in, one person sees one offer, and the very next person sees another offer)

You can also perform MVT on your WSO as well.

Why is all this important? Well, you'd be amazed at how one headline will outpull another headline...and how a new headline will breathe life into an old WSO.

PM me your contact details, if you'd like and I'll send you a copy of the PHP program and methodology that I use to split test WSO offers in real time.

It's made a huge difference and really puts you in control.

For instance, I recently had 1 WSO offer salespage perform at 9% and another salespage perform at 30% for the same offer.

You can do this statistically too...so this is no "pie in the sky" guesswork.

That salesletter difference alone was worth $4,000 and counting.

    It DOES pay to test.

Anything that can be tested can be improved.

    Anything!

One more thing...whatever you do, do NOT use the Views Value in the Forum...you need to count Absolute Unique Visitors to get valid data.

    Jack: I'm interested in that.

It would probably make an amazing WSO in itself!

One more thing...let me make sure to give credit where credit is due...

It was actually Allen Says who prodded some WSO listers to make sure to test their new listings when the new Forum was put in place back in August or so...

At the time, I made the dumb mistake of telling Allen that this wasn't possible...lesson learned...He was obviously ahead of me on this one (are we surprised?)

      Thanks for the "prod" Allen!

I can personally say that his "prod" was worth thousands of dollars for me personally. (He's one smart little cookie with a Cuban cigar!)

If you're willing to sit through a few minutes of me "droning" on about how to implement this, it can/should be worth a few thousand for you too!
