Interesting phenomenon (screenshot)... Your thoughts?

Whenever I log into the WF, there are twice as many people in the WSO forum as this, the "free information" forum.

I've never bought a WSO, and I never go into the WSO forum, so I am wondering... are all those people looking around buying WSOs or is it product creators looking around for some reason?

I'm either missing something or I need to create a WSO

I guess the IM niche is about as "hungry" as it gets, huh?

I have noticed this too. It has been happening for the past year (as far as I know).

A couple of years ago, the main forum had more than the wso section. That gradually changed.

There is no way all those people viewing the wso section are all wso sellers checking their competition out. There must be quite a few buyers in the WF (goes without saying really).

    Regards

    -Simon

      lol this made me laugh!

I think the WSO and the offers gets sent out to HUGE lists so that is why there are loads of people viewing.

A number of those people would be those who are running WSO's and remain logged in all day sitting on their WSO so they can answer customer questions, etc.

Then there would be those people who remain logged in on the WSO main page so they can see the best time to bump their own WSO.

That's not to say there wouldn't be a lot of people looking around the WSO's. It would probably attract a fair amount of traffic from the search engines as well.

You also need to keep in mind that a lot of WSO's are getting promoted by affiliates these days using the Warrior Plus system. So there is all that traffic being thrown at the WSO forum every day as well.

I didn't even mention this because I lost the screen shot. But, at around 2am or later a couple of weeks ago There were 1,000+ logged into the main forum and over 7,000 logged into the WSO section.

I snapped a picture of it (literally took it with my cell camera) but didn't save it correctly.

I see two reasons that could happen.

1: I think it occurs because certain keywords draw alot of traffic. The marketers in the wso section, the really brilliant ones are also thinking in terms of SEO with their listings.

2: (This should prob be #1) When someone does a JV with wso pro, or a major marketer, they could easily send a rush of thousands of people to the wso forum within a couple of hours. The more Big JVs there are going on the more traffic should be in the WSO section.

So in short, I dont believe its necessarily all people browsing the section, I think its the efforts of individual marketers and their affiliates send visitors to specified wso pages... it makes sense that there would be alot of traffic in there coming from all over the internet.

Unfortunately that doesnt mean they are all just cruising the section though.

    Thats my take.

You might see Mike Lantz send out an email one day when there's only 200 people in there.... and suddenly the number says 2000 visitors so you bump... but all of the visitors showing on the board were really there because they had been directed to that particular page by a particular marketers campaign, which is why you can bump during a traffic spike and still not get sales sometimes

Again this is just my theory, but I'd say its a fairly educated one.

Edit: Duh! Just read up. WillR already said this! Sorry fer bein redundant. Think of it as a confirmation.

I think each niche has their own buyers, so with WSO each WSO will have their own buyers that interested to the products. Seems the IM niche still have a lot of interest, this means a lot of new people are interested to the make money online stuff. I hope those who create WSO can really create quality products that can really help others answer the question about IM , not just some rush products that just looking to fill their wallets.

Wso`s are much better promoted these days, so i think it natural that more people visit that section.

Especially when you think thats the section where the WFs top working marketers actually are working... it should be the most buzzing section in the forum, even on the internet maybe.

Yeah it makes sense that a big marketer can send out an email and fill up the WSO section right away.... as well as people waiting around and bumping their WSO all day.

It has been really consistently at least 50% more for a long time. My thought was that people want to just buy success rather than learning. And if you look at the stats for the web design part of the forum, half the time there were about 25 people viewing. The more work involved, the less people involved.

Very true. It took me years to get over sitting down and surfing the web "avoiding" real work for hours before I ever got anything done.
