How Many Blogs?

I have 2 blogs Wordpress and Blogger and a Facebook Fan Page running and I put all of my posts on the three of them. Does doing this increase traffic at all? If it does should I start a MySpace blog as well? Should I use Squidoo as well?
To put it again: I want to increase my traffic.
I already have Wordpress, Blogger and Facebook fan page. All of my posts go on these 3 sites.
Am I wasting time doing this? Or should I put all of my stuff on Myspace and Squidoo as well?

    I'm not an expert in this subject, but if anything I would think you would be penalized in the search engines for duplicate content. (I think the search engines prefer original content).

    A better way would probably be to post your article only on EzineArticles.com. If it's a good article, that should bring you some traffic in time (but probably not immediately).

    (Of course, don't post all of your writings to EzineArticles.com because then you won't have a blog of your own. lol).

      Duplicate content isn't in any way the opposite of or the counterpart to original content, James. This isn't just trying to contrast apples with oranges: it's trying to contrast apples with clarinet sonatas.

      This is also mistaken. You'll still have your own blog, very much so, even if all its contents were syndicated to article directories (not that they realistically would be, of course).

      You're confusing "duplicate content" with "syndicated content" (and I strongly suspect you may also be confusing "original content" with "unique content"). On a brighter note, this thread will clarify a lot of it for you if you can discriminate within it between the people who know what they're talking about and those who are making it up as they go along (I think it's actually not too difficult, in that particular thread!).
