Internet Marketing and a $10,000,000 (ten million) Reward. Why not?

Hi All,

I woke up this morning to a terrible story on the news. It involved the killing of several innocent people. They had eye witness accounts and police sketches.

In my twilight sleep I imagined setting up a paypal button for people to send donations for a reward to catch the criminals who committed this terrible crime.

I imagined the "top ten" list on a "most wanted" website where people all over the world could help find the bad guys.

I thought of all of the money raised on the Internet by politicians this election year. The Internet has made it possible for things like this. One or two dollars from a million people in a "reward" pool might just help.

Of course this would not be a one man job and should be handled by law enforcement or a clearing house type institution hired by them.

Is there such a site?

I don't know of any such site George but I think your idea is a very interesting one.

A sort of "Wild West" for the IM era.
