Tips for Launching a Product

Hi there Warriors!

I want to launch a product soon, but really don't know how I could make this to a succes.

Some tips I've heard of:
- WSO (will definitely use this one!)
- JV (know it's something like a partner that helps you, know where to find one.. But how to contact & what a JV really does I don't know?)
- Give it a low price and give high value (this will be used also ^^)
- Try to get it in to Clickbank

Have you guys got some tips for me?

Hope that someone can help me!
-Jelle

P.S.: It will be about Traffic, got a lot more information about that.

    Hi Jelle,

The JV method is probably the best one to focus on! To learn more about it, I'd recommend you try to find Lee McIntyre's "24 Hour Product Creation" product. It has some great strategies for approaching JV partners!

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,
    -John.

A joint venture might include someone with a list agreeing to offer your product to their list (for a commission or for you to do the same thing in exchange, if you have approximately the same size lists.)

A joint venture can also be offering an affiliate program - getting affiliates to sign up to promote your product in exchange for a commission on sales.

I have used Clickbank in the past for a few of my products, but didn't see much success with it:-(

I'd agree a JV has to be the best route especially with affiliates - thats what i'd do. ive seen it done and its worked really well even if initially you have to offer very high commission rates

What JVs look for is high conversions and good commissions, this is just my 2 cents but there are loads of factors to consider.

Ask yourself the same question, if you had a big list... what type of products would you promote and what type of people would you work with...

Ok we need much more detail to make that determination.

A product launch can't just be based on who has the biggest mailing list.

In general the best way to do a product launch follows a specific step by step guide:

        - Keyword research must be done; choose at least 30 keywords that have a +50% commercial intent
        - Have the sales copy done by an expert
        - Have the product created with good GRAPHICS
        - Create at least 30+ pages of content based on keywords.
        - Add A Squeeze page to the site
        - Create 30 Ads in an Adwords Campaign
        - Run this test at a budget of 500.00 for 1 week.

See what keywords work and which don't.

Begin building your own list and test what keywords work for you.

You can use WSO's or JV's but you can see much more profits in this matter.

  • If this is your first product, your first priority should not be the money but to build your own mailing list in order to have your own audience when you release your second product.

So create a WSO, contact other "small warriors" here in the forum offering a 100% commission, etc. Even give out the product for free upon optin-in. Whatever it takes! No matter what you do, if this is your first step, go for list-building before going to money.

    Hi Jelle,
This is your first product so I would advise you to use it as a list magnet.

To do that you can use either the "$7 Secrets" or the "Rapid Action Profits" scripts and offer 100% commission on the front end product. The lure of 100% instant PayPal commission is a big incentive and it'll help you to attract many JV partners.

Use the warrior joint venture section here at the Warrior Forum to get JV partners. One thing is certain that not every marketer whom you approach with your proposal will accept it.But even if you succeed in getting just one response out of the 10 sent,it'll be a huge accompolishment.

The aim of your first launch should be to build a seed list.Once you get a few hundred subscribers, you can always multiply your list size by doing adswaps with others.
