No PLR ebook/articles means pointless niche?

Hey,

I had some ideas for a couple of potential niches but there are no PLR stuff available. Basically its ailment stuff similar to acne, etc. but not as common. Decent google search volume tho, thanks.

Well if you are posting here than you must have read the title - which contains his question.

He wants to know if it's a pointless niche.

Reading the title has little bearing with any answer. Without specifically knowing the niche we cannot give an answer anyways.

As a word of advise to anyone... asking about the validity of any niche without mentioning the niche will always fail to secure the answers you are looking for.

I wasn't referring to what the answer should/could be. Or how good the question was.

He just wondered what the question was so I told him.

We are on the same page, I just saw how someone could really miss it.

I actually understood the question but chose to give a question as the
answer seeing there was not enough info in the question to give a proper
            answer.

Figured he might spread a little light on the niche so that we could give more
than a generic answer to the generic question.

              Hey,

Wow, wasn't expecting such quick responses, this place is great :-
Sorry about the confusing first post, lol. Still early in the morning here..
The niches were: "razor bumps" and "hay fever". Some seasonality too I guess also at least for hay fever (very common around spring obviously) and women often get razor bumps after shaving in time for summer..

Unfortunately I don't have access to MS and the trial was giving me some grief on my computer. Stuck with the free tools I'm afraid.

              Thanks again!

Think he has the question as the thread title, confusing as it may be without the information in the post.

As far as an answer... create the product yourself or outsource it if there is no PLR. The presence, or lack, of PLR is no indication on how good, or pointless, a niche is.

Just because there isn't any PLR available doesn't mean its not a good niche to sell info products to.

The best way to find out if its viable is to setup a dummy salespage, drive some traffic, and see how many hits you get on the order button.

If its enough to make a profit, get your product made and start flooding your site with visitors.

I had no idea there was such an interest in poststructural literary analysis in this forum. I really should come here more often. But please excuse me if I let the side down by answering the question, here.

No - it doesn't necessarily mean that, at all. There are plenty of niches that are far from "pointless" but have no readily available PLR material.

Actually, if it indicates anything, it is that there is less competition out there. PLR providers generally stick to the more popular niches because that's where we make our money. Creating PLR that not many people will buy isn't very economically sound so you will see less available for the less competitive niches.

True, indeed. It is hard to justify the time spent to create a product that will only sell a small handful of copies. I would be much better off selling it as a ghostwriter.
