Need advice on how to generate traffic

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi guys,

I have a web site selling niche products from various affiliates in the jewelry industry. The followings are what I've done, so far, to promote the site.
1. Search Engines Submission
2. Classified Ads Submission
3. Social Networking (Squidoo, Craiglist, Digg, etc.)
Is there anything else I should do to increase traffic?:confused:

Article Marketing is very powerful. Ezine Articles has over 1 million unique visitors daily. Write a 300-400 word article and link that to your site. Do a little keyword research.

Also, write a few blogs about your niche and link it to your website

And, of course--FACEBOOK. Create a Facebook Fan page. You'd be amazed at the power of Facebook

Def Article marketing is a must, that's one of my favorites b/c it's free! But not just one, try to write at least 5 a day on your diff keywords, then submit them to high page rank article directories.

You can also create a Google Knol of your article that creates a lot of traffic,

But most of all, evaluate your competitors backlinks, see where they are getting there links from, then try your best to get them. I use SEO Spyglass!

You just have to work at it everyday!!! Don't forgot to blog post your name as your keyword, and forum signitures help! Hope this helps with your business!

Generating targeted website traffic is one of the most important actions you have to take to become successful online. No traffic means no results, whether sales, leads, subscribers or whatever it is that you are trying to achieve.

Very simple. Engage in forum posting because it will allow you for signature text that will give you backlinks. Blog commenting may also be applicable for you since it will also allow you to leave your page's URL. Just make it sure that the content of whatever you post and comment is interesting and with value to the readers.

Social Networking is effective for gaining traffic to your site like facebook, twitter and freindfeed ad well, do also yahoo answers, and make sure to make a relevant and nice answer to related categories.

Some other free ways to get traffic is forum contribution, and get twitter followers in your niche. Create a fan page, and pay people on fiverr that are selling invites. You can make the fanpage title funny, shocking or attention grabbing so there's a chance it can go viral.

  The common thing about the Google complainers is that they believe what they have been doing is "Free".

Just strengthen your link building campaign. Maximize the use of social media sites also. For me that is the best thing to do.

I would Google for related sites/blogs and advertise your site there or even contact the owner and offer him content that (s)he can post on he's site with your link at the end of the post/article. ;-)

Create vidoes for Youtube reviewing products e.g. watches and necklaces, also articles are great, do enough of them though, one a week will get you nowhere, try for a minimum of two per day. Could also try solo adverts in ezines
